I recently visited this restaurant. The hotel is cute, and I have stayed here before and enjoyed it. I wouldn’t rave about the brunch. I used to go to Dakota’s for their weekend brunch and really liked it. But Dakota’s has been closed for some years. So, looking for a brunch to spend time with family, I decided on Seasons. The brunch is great if you are already staying at the restaurant. However, I would not travel to eat brunch there. Plus, $40 for the limited spread is a waste of money. I have visited restaurants with bigger spreads that charge less than $40. I can’t say there are alternatives for guests at the hotel…maybe Whole Foods Market down on route 44. But for others who are not staying there, I don’t think it’s worth the drive.

I would have given a 5 but there are a few things which made our stay slightly below our expectation. The TV pullout was placed at one end of the bed where the canopy pole split the view of the tv screen. There were no in-room microwaves. This is important for someone working from the hotel room. The table chairs inside the bar are dangerously loose. Breakfast is served daily but not lunch or dinner. They begin on Thursday. Other than that, perfect! Beautiful place, great breakfast, good dinner, nearby shopping.

As the first time was amazing the second visit was anything but. Easter buffet. Service was slow. I wasn’t given drinks or offered to get a drink other than water that was already at the table. Plates had specks of food on it. Had to wait 8 minutes in line to get plates as they ran out. They were extremely hot and my salad and ambrosia salad melted by the rime I reached my table. Food had no flavor. Everything was picked over. I got sick from something I ate.

Great little place inside the Avon Old Farms Hotel. Friendly servers, great food, cozy. Burger was a good size, prepared exactly as ordered, fresh and plentiful toppings, bun wasn’t overpowering. Fries were tasty (wasn’t supposed to eat ’em, did so anyway.) Would definitely eat here again!

Very nice hotel and restaurant in Avon. It doesn’t appear fancy from the outside, but you can tell the level of care on the inside. Really nice service and the menu is small but well curated and reasonably affordable. We’ve eaten dinner here once on the outdoor patio and once in the bar area. The bar in particular is a beauty to look at. Great spot for a date night dinner. We’ve also heard good things about the brunch but haven’t tried that yet.
