Stopped in for a late lunch one Saturday. Owner was there and we sat together and chatted while I ate. Lovely!! Amazing homemade tomato soup, delicious homemade bread and cheese for the grilled cheese, and even homemade green tea. All good, locally sourced, and good for ya! I’m no vegetarian, but will absolutely return. Oh – and the cookies and scones I took home were also yummy!!

Vegetarian with eggs, goat cheeses. Great place for eating in although space is limited to three tables: small, medium, and large. All menu items are available to go. Food is made to order. Plan to wait a bit. Fresh baked breads, scones, doughnuts, and pies are ready to go along with teas, juices, and coffee.

Can I provide more than 5 stars? On a trip to Chicago, with a LOT of restaurants involved, this is the place that stood out the most. It was like we went to our grandmom’s house. The food was great, and very affordable, and the personal touch was fantastic! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal you will remember!
