We are a small American Bistro that seats around 90. We have a downstairs dining room with restored brick walls and an upstairs dining room that is more modern. We serve modern takes on classic dishes from around the world and have rotating specials daily. Everything is fresh and meticulously selected by our Chef and Pastry Chef who also own the business. Our team is our pride and we are some of the best around! We love what we do and try to show that through all we do. We hope you will join us. Now this is one of those restaurants you go for the first time and before you leave you are deciding which appetizers and dishes you will be ordering on your next visit. The appetizers and entre’s were beautifuly arranged and garnished like a piece of artwork. Every bite activated my palat with precision and rich flavors. The meatballs were very delicious, but I would like to try the crab cakes next time. The Buffalo Cauliflower was dynamite! I would order that every visit. My wife had the Strawberry Praline salad with blackened chicken. Best salad I’ve ever had, I could literally eat that salad daily. I had the Seabass, and it was an excellent dish!

We experienced Seasoning Bistro for the first time. The mint mojito cocktail, had a perfect consistency and was one of the two best that I have ever had (highly recommended). The steak was a 14 ounce ribeye, cooked medium, with balsamic brussel sprouts and a baked potato. The steak, which was priced at $45.00, was decent but not worth that monetary amount. The baked potato was, well…a baked potato, and the brussel sprouts were subpar. The atmosphere was relaxing. The waitress was friendly, attentative, and professional. The pricing is above average, especially for the amount that you receive, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

The service was prompt. The burger I ordered was PHENOMENAL. I also ordered the crab cakes (I am from New England so they were not what I expected) They were sweet (I was expecting salty and spicy) overall they were still good. I also ordered some tacos to take home, again I was expecting something totally different but they were also sweet. I would recommend this place IF you enjoy food on the sweeter more “upscale” side, but I wouldn’t if you’re looking for that down home comfort food

The steak here is amazing! Definitely recommend the bacon glaze or garlic butter on top of the steak! They have awesome adult beverages as well! The server was super informative and nice as well! It is pricey, but well worth it in our opinion!

I’m writing this review from atop my porcelain throne. This afternoon I had one of the greasiest cheeseburgers of my life. I’m not one to back down from a challenge so I finished the whole thing. I almost didn’t make it to my throne. The grease won in the end as it always does. Not an hour has passed. Eat the cheeseburger if you dare but I guarantee your fate will be the same as mine.

We loved the atmosphere here. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The specialty cocktails were awesome and the food was excellent. This is by far one of the best dinners we’ve had in southern Illinois! It was well worth the 1 hour drive!! I’d definitely recommend getting a reservation though.

The food was amazing at first when we came In the staff made us feel like we weren’t good enough to eat there, and our waitress was a bit snappy however as the meal went on she became nicer. The food was some of the best I’ve had in a very long time! Definitely book a registration you can do it online.

Our family enjoyed , perfectly seasoned and cooked food. We had pork ribeye and pasta con broccoli and bistro salad, fried mushrooms, wagyu meatballs. And they had a special today of elk steak, and it was absolutely cooked to perfection and nearly melted in your mouth. We’ve been here before, and we continue to come. Friendly efficient staff and the food is absolutely wonderful. We recommend this place to everyone make your reservations early you’ll be very satisfied.
