Only the bar was open. Very limited menu and I wish I had not ordered. Dry prefab chicken quesadillas and not very good. I ordered a glass of wine from the bar and it was terrible. Obviously the bottle had been left open for a while. We all know that taste. What a waste of an excellent location and opportunity for the RV park patrons. It closed back during Covid and now it’s open but it’s not recovered yet. I wish the base commander would read this and come check it out. Maybe they could allocate some money for hiring more people to work and build a new team for the future?

When we walked in at 5:45 there were 2 customers at the bar and what looked like 2 employees all of whom were in conversation. We looked around trying to get the lay of the land when one of the employees said she would be with us in a minute. After seating ourselves on the patio we waited about 15 minutes. When no one came out my husband went in to get a menu and then returned to the bar to order. He went back in about 10 min later to get the Cuban sandwiches. We never did see the server come out to the patio as she was engaged in conversation around the bar. Poor service, in our opinion. Average food. We were at the campground and thought this would be a cool place but it isn’t!!! Maybe Cinco deMayo will be an improvement!!!!!

Lady who worked the bar was not friendly, when asked for a menu or what drinks they serve she repeatedly said ‘we are a normal bar that serves whatever drinks a bar has’….that’s not helpful when I’m trying to figure out what drink to order . Atmosphere is ok, limited food menu – food was ugh, ok it was eatable (tried the chicken quesedilla and nachos with cheese) tastes like microwaved food. All in all this place has potential but they aren’t making much of it at the moment… Also I spent about 2 hours on the beach, didn’t get close to the water, but walked away with numerous itchy bites…

The 2 stars are for the view, ONLY! My military family and I came to spend the night in Tampa to tour the sights, and we were excited to try this restaurant due to the great r views, BUT be warned the food is horrible! We didn’t know that if we came for dinner we would only get a limited menu! We were excited and instantly saddened! I think the people that eat here are mesmerized by the view as was I! But, skip the food, come her at sunset and walk through the gate at the pavilion, you don’t have to eat! Our fish and chips were the worst!!!! It took forever to order our food because only the bartender was taking the orders! We will NOT be coming back to this restaurant! We arranged our plans to come to this restaurant at sunset and we were soooooo disappointed with the food! You can really eat Wendy’s 4 for $4 meal and be super happy! Or buy Popeyes $5 tackle box and take it with you to this spot and enjoy your seafood with flavor for $5 and enjoy the same view the fish in our fish and chips didn’t have flavor and was wet! ☹️ the chicken tenders were frozen unflavored tenders and yes we tried bringing it to the bartenders attention but the line was ridiculous when we were finished eating that we just left…
