This is one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach!

Good afternoon lunch here. Very reasonable pricing especially on the seafood.

Went here with friends to celebrate 2 birthdays. Party of 6. The food was delicious, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was cold. Well, not cold, but not hot. I like my food hot, especially the she crab soup. Other than that, excellent. Our waitress was excellent. She brought out some ice cream over a brownie for the birthday boys. 3 servings, including one for a belated birthday of the third person for his birthday a week ago.

We had been to this restaurant 11 years ago when we visited Myrtle Beach and wanted to go again because of the amazing seaside view while dining. The food we had this time was still amazing. Our waitress was so nice and she was so prompt with everything. The view was spectacular. Would definitely go back. My whole family loved it – even my kids who weren’t to sure about seafood.

My husband had the she crab soup, salmon with BBQ sauce, and asparagus. He said all of it was delicious. I have an allergy to seafood, so I had the chicken Francaise with a baked potato, which was also very good. We share the Hummingbird Cake for dessert, which was fantastic!

Very good service. Friendly, helpful, attentive. Had bang bang shrimp tacos. Very tasty with right amount of spice and sweet with the coleslaw. Two tacos, six large fried shrimp, pickled onion and coleslaw. Great views of the beach. My only suggestion is for the manager… he came around to ask how things were. I’m happy to answer but not mid bite of a messy taco. Maybe come ask when we are finished eating.

Sea Captain’s was a great choice for our brief visit to Myrtle Beach! We sat on the patio and we had an excellent coastal view!! There was also a great acoustic guitarist playing mellow versions of your favorite covers.

Waterfront dining with exceptional service & delicious seafood options. It’s your better than average seafood restaurant. Called to see if they were on a wait on a Tuesday evening & Barbara was a friendly voice on the other end telling us to come on in. Our hostess greeted us immediately & sat us downstairs by the window looking at the ocean. Bill, our server, was excellent & very friendly, making great menu recommendations. We ordered a strawberry mojito, coastal coconut, house salad, Captains seafood muddle, & the fried Captains Seafood platter. The hushpuppies were delicious, drinks & food were average but fresh. Would recommend trying & ask for Bill!

The food is wonderful. Hush puppies are complementary and I could eat my weight in them! The fried green tomatoes are excellent. I had the fish special and it was golden tile, which I had never had before. I was pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for lunch the next day

Our first time at Sea Captains House and it didn’t disappoint! We made reservations and we highly recommend doing so. We were seated right along the windows – A+ for views! Started with the best hush puppies – they are very light and crispy. House salads next. Fried flounder with french fries and Seafood muddle…so much seafood and the broth was amazing! Can’t wait to try the hummingbird cake. Would definitely recommend…a little pricey but worth it.
