Good food. Friendly staff. Spent six hours chatting at a table with my sister. Even after we paid the bill they came around and made sure we were ok. Gave water. Was busy at first but then just had a few tables full as the afternoon wained.

After a short hike at the Wapato Lake National Wildlife Refuge noticed this delightful Diner just across the street. Food was excellent, friendly people, and this small Cafe is whimsically decorated with chicken and rooster images. Had the fried chicken dinner for lunch, very tasty and nice portions. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other delicious looking offerings!

Small, cute little diner. Their menu is amazing with breakfast served all day. We split a BLT w/ avocado on sourdough – one of the best I’ve had – very fresh. I was probably the most surprised by the clam chowder – perfectly seasoned and just the right proportions. We finished with a peanut butter banana milkshake – SO GOOD. It was plenty big after splitting it. Delicious meal and kind service. We will definitely be back!

Funky old fashioned dinner. Real food. I have never gone home hungry. The regular menu is large and has a lot of options to choose from. Breakfast thru dinner. They also have beer and wine. The specials have all been a must try. And do yourself a favor and get an old fashioned milkshake. I recommend the pumpkin pie.
