Scoville Hot Chicken is a story about how inspiration leads to passion, and how pursuing dreams can come true. Justim Lee, a Michelin awarded chef from LA, decided to open a Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant after being blown away when tasting the spicy fried chicken at Howlin’ Ray restaurant from great Chef Johnny Ray Zone. After travelling the world tasting and learning about food, he went to Nashville to dig in everything about spicy hot chicken. And decided to bring the concept to Atlanta metro area.

Update from visit a week ago. Since I did get a responses, I gave them a call and left a message. We gave them a second chance. We got there just before noon. No body was in the restaurant. The employee behind the counter directed us to the order kiosk. One kiosk was locked up so we went to the second one. It’s hard to compare prices of items the way the menu is see set up. Expect to spend $10-15 for a meal, fried and a beverage. I had a 6 piece wings meal and my wife just fries and a drink when her meal was going to cost $14. With no interaction with staff, the kiosk gave you the option of numerous tip amounts!!! We did finally see the screen in the corned with some overall pricing. On the good side, Wings and fries were delicious. Weird selection of Pepsi drinks offered. Lunch was expensive, restaurant has a broken cabinets door and missing floor covering detracted from the interior. Parking can be challenging.

Food was good. My mother had Lemon pepper wings and I had chicken tenders med spice. The medium was spicy as heck for me but really good. Fries portion could be more but the food was overall good. Definitely a good place to go for a quick bite.

Another update June 20, 2023: each visit keeps getting worse! Placed a pick up order and all 3 orders had old, soggy fries. Each sandwich was completely dried out and almost burnt. Like the sandwiches were recooked. Didn’t taste fresh at all. I tried to call but got no answer. All 3 meals were inedible and went in the trash. Sad to say, we’ll no longer come back.

Excellent, well-priced food. This may be my new favorite chicken sandwich. Ordering was fairly simple using a kiosk/touchscreen setup. Menu is simple with a choice of sandwiches or tenders with or without fries, drinks, and a variety of sauces. The sandwich was fantastic. I ordered the extra hot and found it to be pretty mild, yet still tasty with a generous portion of chicken complemented by creamy slaw and tangy comeback sauce and finished with a few crunchy pickles. The flavors worked really well together! Fries on the side were generous too, though could have used a little more seasoning. Overall, definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to try something different on the chicken sandwich scene!

I found this place on Groupon and I was very pleased. The food was delicious and worth the price. Everything was hot and fresh. I had the chicken sandwich “chill” spice because I was scared but it was so flavorful and delicious. I feel like I could work my way up the levels of spice. I tried some of the wings as well and the flavors were great. There was a bit of a wait but not bad at all and definitely worth it. Will definitely come back.

I’ve visited this location twice before today’s visit (those 2 visits I would give Scoville a 4 out of 5)….needless to say I am highly disappointed with the quality of food cleanliness of this establishment today. My medium chicken sandwich was over cooked and dry and contained slaw, which I did not request. I’ve never been a fan of coleslaw. With my combo a fountain drink was included; However, only 3 options were available….the remainder were out of stock. Leaving me to request strawberry lemonade. I was told there would be a surcharge, but the cashier waived the fee after I explained the limited options being available. At 1pm in the afternoon the floor and tables were not clean!!! They had only been open since 11am, so I don’t know why it was not clean. No other patrons were in the building. Totally dissatisfied with quality of food and lack of cleanliness.

My husband, son and I visited last night. My husband got the chicken sandwich and me and my son got the chicken tenders. We shared some cajun wings. Everything was so flavorful. We will definitely be back.
