This is a small place with big flavors! The oysters are so fresh and the catfish and shrimp are also delish! The beer is on ice so it’s very cold. The service is exceptional with seasoned wait staff. Again it’s an small older place but worth a visit! There is an outdoor seating area as well. Daily specials except for Wednesdays. We visit this place often and have been coming here for years and years! Go…You won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of dining at Scott’s Oyster Bar and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. But what really stole the show were the dishes – I had the catfish, oysters, and boiled shrimp and they were all cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and savory, and the seafood was incredibly fresh. I especially loved the oysters – they were plump and juicy, with just the right amount of brine.

I Love Scott’s, if you like oysters this is the place!! Scott’s is the kind of dive bar atmosphere you would see on Dinners, Drive-in and Dives! I have eaten there several times over the years and never been disappointed!! We normally order fresh oysters (as an appetizer) catfish, and fried Oysters. It was so good tonight we ordered an extra dozen oysters. We tried another local oyster restaurant (expensive/ poor service) for our anniversary last month and was so disappointed! We Both left wishing we had just went to Scott’s!! So tonight was a make-up dinner for our post anniversary.

Absolute best seafood in Amarillo. I grew up in Amarillo and moved to Fort Worth, and even after being in DFW since 2003 I have yet to find a place with fried shrimp as good as Scott’s! Every time I come back to town, I bring my parents. Get the shrimp and catfish combo and one of their ICE COLD beers (possibly coldest in town).
