Keep in mind, this place may open a bit later in the day. I finally had the chance to go, I enjoyed it so much. The service was superb! I dined in and the food was delicious. I had the honey lemon wings, and my friend had the ox tails…both were very good. Looking forward to going again.

My brother had his birthday party here. We really enjoyed ourselves. The bar was really slow. But the music was on point played from the ’90s R&B to today’s hip hop music. The food was really good also. It turns into a nightclub at night and they don’t have security which was kind of weird.. but it really was a grown up vibe. We will be going back soon.

Scott Benny’s is a place I will not go to ever again. The level of unprofessionalism from their bartender is beyond real. The light skin lady with the braids. For her to tell another customer who got up, walked away, and went outside, that I took his seat at the bar and that she tried to stop me is ridiculous. Even though she never said anything to me, looked at me and took my order but never stated anything that someone was sitting there. And as she’s telling this other customer how she tried to stop me, she’s standing in front of me, pointing at me, and blaming me. As if I wasn’t a paying customer and my money wasn’t as good as his. But I guess at Scott Benny’s a man’s money is more valuable than a woman’s. Noted. And as we’re leaving the same bartender decides to come back with the to-go box and threw it at my mom. I could never support a business that treats their customers that way.

My first experience here was very god, a little to much fat on the oxtail; but on my next visit it was corrected…Very friendly staff; and thereafter. However my last visit it was NOT what I was accustomed to getting. The Oxtail was TOO salty and the fried whiting was as well. I tried to contact owner several times to express my disappointment and to see if they’d change cooks. No answer not ever a email or call back. I was NOT looking for my money back but to see if I could understand the difference in taste. To this day no response or call back. So I guess I’ll be going to Tati’s Island Cuisine on Broad River Road. And I am just down the street from Scott Benny’s. But for the cost of the food, it’s not for me because of their lack of empathy for a dissatisfied customer. And I really liked this spot. I understand that I am just ONE customer; but still, Scott Benny have consideration.

We just left this place and it was great! Kiki was amazing and extremely welcoming to us visiting from NJ! The shrimp was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The Philly cheesesteak was also amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better place to relax, have fun, and meet really nice people after a long day of driving on the road! This place will not disappoint you!
