Our first visit tonight. Came because it’s in the Pizza Passport. Ordered thin crust bacon, pepperoni , and green pepper with extra sauce, only mozzarella.

A great local South Saint Louis County haunt. Classic bar. Known for their pizza. Great liquor prices.

It was our first time here. I had a burger and it was delicious. I don’t usually like the bun, but it was delicious too. 5 stars for the burger. The tater tots were nice and crispy, but a little bland. My sister had a quesadilla and it was nice and cheezy.

Third time is not a charm. Ordered a deluxe pizza with no black olives. It came out with black olives and we returned it and they replaced the pizza with a new one and we waited a while for it. The bacon was burnt really bad on that new pizza. We talked to the manager and he said he’d replace the pizza and not charge us, which was nice. But then the third pizza is the pictures attached. We asked the waitress what is that on the pizza, she said cheese. The other 2 pizzas didn’t have cheese like that on top. She didn’t seem apologetic just kind of like eh oh well. We just accepted it and left. When we got home the bacon wasn’t even done, they just piled the cheese on top of the bacon and burnt the cheese but didn’t cook the bacon. So disappointing.

Food was awesome. Will definitely be back soon. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. Had the nachos and when she noticed we were halfway through them she asked if we wanted her to reheat them to melt the cheese again. Great service.

Lots of goodies on the menu, but we decided on the hot wings, mushrooms, and cheese garlic bread for appetizers. The wings were some of the best, maybe the best mushrooms, but the cheese garlic bread was dry and not garlicky (although my wife did like the marinara)

I love this place. My wife and I went on a Saturday, for my birthday. I specifically wanted to try their brain sandwich. I like to try unusual foods! This an old-time local pub, my favorite type of restaurant. It was cozy with all the typical trappings of a well-established, older restaurant-bar; I’d call it family-friendly. The brain sandwich was deep-fried, smothered in onions and brown mustard. It was surprisingly good – I’d order it again. My wife had the Reuben and said it was delicious. The bar tender was very nice… all in all this was a great experience, a fun birthday. I’ll go back!

Really good lunch specials. I got the 9” pizza and a side salad for $7. The salad was good with lots of cheese and tasty house dressing.

Our high school class tries to meet for lunch every month & the size of the group varies, but we had 16 classmates show up & our waitress was fabulous. She did separate checks for use & the food was served quickly & it was very tasty. A good time was had by all.
