What an amazing little hole in the wall sushi joint. Was looking for some sushi one evening while on a business trip and lucked into this place located right down the street from my hotel. Edamame was to die for with garlic and a slight chili spice to it. Sashimi was HUGE, don’t get me wrong I ate it all but I was expecting small portions like I get at home. Good selection of bourbon and sake. Highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent experience! Went there for lunch today and had some amazing sushi! I am super picky about sushi…like…VERY picky. I don’t like boring, Americanized rice wraps with grocery store seafood and veggies. This place nailed it! The flavors and textures in my sushi selections were perfectly balanced. The Futo Maki roll here is seriously one of the best I have ever had! The duality of sweet and savory with this roll is really exquisite. The Spicy Salmon Roll was perfectly balanced, not “fishy” and very expertly put together. The service was absolutely on point for the lunch rush. Great food, great service and great, intimate atmosphere…highly recommend!

First time coming here and got my food to go. The blonde girl who was the host seemed highly uninterested in giving quality service to us, but very interested in in giving her number to another customer who had been eating at the bar. Very friendly and attentive to him. How can you expect anyone to want to come back to an establishment when the first person the guest meet could care less about giving even the most decent customer service.

(Apologies for the half eaten food in photos, I forgot to take them before we ate!) School Sushi was SO delicious! If you’re a salmon lover, the fatty salmon was great. My other favorite was the spicy tuna tempura. The restaurant also did a great job of social distancing with plenty of room between tables – it felt very safe to me. Thanks for a great meal!
