I’ve read that the food was good online so decided to order. Gotta say the food was great! I believe the place in ran by a grandmother and her grand-daughter. I especially enjoyed the red cabbage, it had the best flavor. The pork cutlet was cooked to perfection covered in a “spicy” bell pepper gravy (wasnt a hot & spicy) gravy, had a nice flavor. The place inside is kinda small so it was a little warm inside from the kitchen but I’m sure in the Fall of the year it would be comfortable. If you want to try some German food, I highly recommend Schnitzel, they have some tasty ” Brauts” too!

This place is the definition of a hidden gem and I wish I visited more regularly. The food is delicious and everything is homemade from scratch. I love the Jagerschnitzel plate and the sides of potato salad and red cabbage are the perfect complement. The desserts are amazing as well! Light and not overly sugary. Just writing this makes me crave this meal all over again.

Great authentic German cuisine. The gravy is absolutely amazing. It’s a small little house and you wouldn’t really think something great would come out of that. But I’m a believer in never judging a book by its cover. Looks can be deceiving. Must give it a try!!!

The best German restaurant bar none. No need to drive to Houston only to find lesser quality. We’ve been eating here for over a decade, and it keeps getting better and better. Monika will keep you entertained, and make you feel like family. Would give 10 stars if I could. Everything is good, no matter what you order.

Oh my gosh, I’ve driven past here so many times that it’s not even funny. Little did I know that this hidden gem would be my new go-to for not only German food but also dessert! This place is a small restaurant with a big authentic German flavor. The owner has brought over her German flavor to share with the lucky people of this small town. Everything on the menu has been fantabulous including the deserts…a must try if your looking for authentic German taste.
