Good ribs and pulled pork, brisket was a little dry and bland. Nice environment, outdoor seating with a live band. Decent beer selection and very friendly service. Close to parking and downtown Leesburg so a very convenient location. Will probably visit again but will just get ribs next time.

Following the intoxicating smells, we stopped in for lunch. A delicious BBQ experience ensued! Pulled pork platter was graced with a sweet/smoky sauce that was an amazing complement to the tender meat. Yum.

I got the loaded Mac and cheese with the pulled pork. The pulled pork was so tender and the Mac and cheese was perfect. My only complaint is that we called ahead and told them we had a large party coming and they said they would accommodate and have heaters for outside and an outside bar setup. They didn’t have either and the wait for a drink was insane with the food being in the same line. Other than that, I would definitely return with a smaller party. I think the loaded mac and cheese weighed 5 lbs! So bring a friend to split it with!

AMAZING BBQ! We were at Wild Hare Cider Cabin in Leesburg and they directed us to Schmidt’s Barbecue. We are SO glad that they did. We ordered the pulled pork cheese fries and they were DELICIOUS! I love that their online menu tells you what is gluten free. My daughter and I are GF so I was so excited to see so many options. We also ordered brisket (GF), Caesar salad, and mac and cheese. We will 100% be back again! Friendly customer service, clean, lots of outdoor seating (inside in very small). Order at the counter and eat outside.

We came for dinner and drinks on a Friday. The place was absolutely packed. The servers were all working hard to get everyone served quickly. Ben at the bar especially did an excellent job.

Ribs were VeryGood, chicken and pork pretty good, corn bread not the best. What they called smoked veggies were probably steamed with no smoked flavor. Outdoor seating with live music was nice. We did a 20% tip while ordering but then had to go up the steps to get our food, asked for butter, told to go up to get it but then they had none. Asked for hand wipes when we were done and were told to go up and get them. Bottom line basically no service for our 20% tip.

The bbq is decent, the sauces are great and the service was exceptional. The loaded fries are quite tasty. This was an awesome find while driving around, definitely planning to go back.

We love coming to Schmidt’s! The food is so good (def don’t pass up the loaded fries!) but you can’t go wrong with any of their options. The staff is wonderful and love the overall atmosphere! It feels like a back yard bbq with friends and family. Bonus if you go on one of the live music days!!

Great back patio. The food was good but when it comes to BBQ I think the house sauce was a bit to sweet. Not a bad but everyone has their own take on BBQ and this one just isn’t quite too my exact take on it.
