Audio Oddities
Finally got around to leaving a review, we went here back in late March based on reviews online and wow, the reviews aren’t wrong! The food is absolutely amazing, one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to, and my moms family are all full blood Italian. I’ve had some really good Italian food. If you’re in Glendale, come here, you will not be disappointed! Also, it seemed like a really good value too, like we got a lot of food and it didn’t seem like we paid all that much.

Scarantino’s is a small, pleasant Italian restaurant in Glendale! When you walk in there is a small waiting area to the left and to the right is the hostess counter. The menu offers delicious, classic dishes and baguette bread and butter to start. It has a homey and romantic ambience. Definitely recommend!

Our new favorite Italian! From start to finish we had an amazing experience yesterday. We were looking for something authentic, that hasn’t changed through the years, family run…. We found it! We were welcomed, had a table fast even without reservation. The service was stellar, I am vegan, and the waitress knew exactly what she had to do (usually I have to explain what can/can not have to waiters and it gets tiring) but she immediately accommodated me with replacements without me having to detail anything, so efficient. Also the portions are HUGE. The house wine Chianti from San Antonio was fantastic. The food was hot and flavorful, very authentic Italian food. The atmosphere was friendly and homely. It felt like we’ve been been coming there for years even thought it was our first time. It’s clean (I love a good red and white table cover <3) great music, affordable, qualitative, great attention from waiters/bussers. I understand why it’s been running since the 60’s, and I hope the family will keep the business open through generations to come!

Food was decent ,server forgot our drinks,server showed no interest waiting on us. When i mentioned anything to her it upset her reminding her for instance about our drinks we didnt receive till after food started arriving. The owner is a absolute creep. Was hiding behind a door by the bathroom watching our table. He made three trips to the table next to ours offering them desert and coffee on the house and didnt even turn around and ask us how dinner was. Very strange atmosphere over served the table in front of us with wine. Again food was decent but not ran professionally at all. Maybe it is diffent if you are a regular customer but we will not be returning

With a name very similar to my own, Scarantino’s cannot help but be wonderful! I have been coming here for 40 years and the food is always top notch, the service friendly and impeccable, the ambiance casual and cozy (red checkered tablecloths and all), and the prices very reasonable … HOOAH!

Lived in Glendale my whole life and ALWAYS have wanted to come here! We absolutely loved it and will come back many more times! It’s a Vintage Glendale Restaurant ! Very romantic and Italian inside! We sat at a booth that had a little lantern on the wall. We ordered an appetizer, the Fried Mozzarella and it was delicious! Our server was so kind..I wish I got his name.. an older gentleman who was so helpful. We ordered the Glendale Pizza and the Canelloni with a Side of Sausage we also got a salad that came with the meal which was very good and Minestone Soup that my husband loved the most! The food was Authentic and Delicious! I never get dessert but I couldn’t help but get a cup of Spumoni Ice Cream! We will be coming back soon!
