Such friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Food is top notch– super fresh and delicious. And the Speckled Ax coffee is sooo tasty. The space also offers great views of the lake and outdoor seating. It’s the best!

Really awesome little cafe producing simple, but high quality fare! Stopped in during a trip from Boston and was impressed with the food, service, and overall price of this spot. I later learned this location opened recently. These folks are doing it right with a great young energetic crew! Bravo!

Don’t miss this sweet cafe tucked away in picturesque Mount Vernon right on the water. Bakery selections alone are worth a stop. Hot food is delicious! We had the Breakfast BLT on sourdough, scone, fruit cup, and baked blackberry French toast. Everything was delicious. We’ll be back!

Busy lunch crowd…ordered 2 turkey clubs (one in gf wrap) and a cup of carrot ginger soup. The Cole slaw was fantastic, the bacon was perfectly crispy, and the rosemary mayo was a delight. Knowing they have only been open for a week, our 30 minute wait to be served was completely understandable…and the food was absolutely worth the wait. We will 100% be back.

AMAZING remodel of this lakeside eatery on Minnehonk Lake in charming Mount Vernon by it’s former head chef Sarah Duda. The food, service, and decor are top-notch, and the prices are great (the most expensive item on the menu is 12.00 and the portion sizes and quality of the food is excellent). A definite must if you’re in Belgrade, Mount Vernon, Readfield, or Farmington areas.
