First time trying chicago style deep dish pizza. It was good! As a mom of 4 I love the welcoming atmosphere towards children. I only had my youngest with me but I liked how the workers interacted with the kids on the other table. They do have high chairs and a changing table in the woman’s restrooms that looks very secure. If you’re super hungry make sure to order a few appetizers because (as stated on their menu) the deep dish pizza does take about 30 minutes. I did hear one of the workers say they were understaffed but it does seem like most places here are. Will definitely be back.

Pizza was great. Had the hand tossed. Crust was not mushy . Topping tasted fresh. Pizza had lots of flavor but nothing over baring . Garlic bread was not over seasoned at all. The chef there knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend . Tortellini soup was on point. Made from scratch. The pasta was also great. Good first visit, definitely getting pizza from there from now on.

First time and last time. Decided to jet before we even ate. Restroom sink had facial hair as if someone had shaved. The waitress coughed into her shirt several times, proceeds to pick up and stack beverage cups, touching the straws that had just been used without any gloves. She goes back to the kitchen and brings food to the customer. Within that time, I’m sure hands were not washed or sanitized. One of the booths had a desktop and a bunch of other things like papers, some sort of plastic bottles. The atmosphere was not inviting. Total turn off.

The waitress who initially took our order was so nice and helpful. The reason for the low rating is on the menu it says 30 min for a deep dish. We ordered at 6:13pm and we didn’t get our food until an hour later (7:15pm)The older lady that came to help our first waitress was unhelpful and made excuses (wish I would’ve gotten names). Also a large party walked in 30 min after us and got their order first. Pizza was mediocre, pasta was okay the chicken was bland, and the chili cheese fries were meh. We thought maybe if the food was amazing the wait could be over looked but no. Not worth it.

First time trying & ordered via UberEats and was extremely impressed. The food tasted like it was made from scratch. We ordered the beef fajita pizza, cheese ravioli, chicken parm sandwich, and lemon pepper wings and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. The wings were so crispy and not greasy at all. We loved everything and will be ordering again soon.

We tried Scaslisi’s for the 1st time on Saturday, Valentine’s Day weekend. It started out good, we got our appetizer, and that was good. Everything was going well until we waited the fully disclosed and agreed upon wait time of 30 minutes for a Deep dish pizza. The wait time wasn’t the issue. After waiting that long and being told it would be out soon, we were then told something went wrong with our order and they would have to start over. New order. We went with the regular hand tossed instead of waiting another 30 mins. The owner came by and apologized and we were provided one side salad for compensation, for my husband and I. We may or may not try again another time. Waitress was Great. They are hiring, if you’re looking for work.

Scalisi’s restaurant is located in the plaza that is just off of Trenton and Main. It’s entrance is on the street next to Panda Express that leads to Sam’s Club. This is a true Mom and Pop pizzeria because Mom and Pop are there working. I went for take out and ordered the Deep dish Chicago style pizza, lasagna, and a small Greek salad. I was told it would take around 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I don’t mind waiting, because I know good food takes time to make, plus this is a deep dish pizza made from scratch. Once I received my order I couldn’t wait to get home and get my grub on
