Google says location is open until 9pm on wednesdays, sbarro website says they are open until 7pm on wednesdays due to limited staff which is fine. Placed an online order and showed up at 530pm to find it completely closed, but my card was still charged [edit 1: card was refunded by online ordering due to “restaurant unable to process order” within 30 minutes from being charged. Prompt refund raised review to 2 stars.] No way to reach anyone or cancel the order online…why allow your online ordering to process orders when you are closed? And what are the actual hours since they arent correctly posted anywhere? Will change review when issue is resolved. [Edit 2: location seems to have gotten better overall, raised review to 4 stars based on several visits since the original review].

I was at the counter checking out the menu and prices. I was looking at the pizza to determine if I wanted pepperoni and sausage or specialty pizza. Meanwhile a gentleman walked up and the heavy set brown skin woman with a wig parted down the middle asked kindly “may I help you?” so he proceeded to order a pizza Stromboli. I kept looking and was waiting on her to ask me the same question but she didn’t. So I stared at her and she looked at me and said in a smart Alec tone “I am ready when you are” I said oh I didn’t know that. She well you were looking at the food. I don’t understand why I was not given the same type of courtesy when I was standing there in total 4 minutes and not one person said hello let alone how May I assist you?. Horrible customer service. She needs to go home and restart her day because obviously she needs an attitude adjustment. Needlessly to say I walked away and is going to save my $$…

Ordered online (not through door dash or GrubHub). I went to pick up roughly 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time because I understand not everything is on time and things run late. My order was no where to be found and wasn’t even made. Employees said they couldn’t locate my order and had to start from the beginning, which now means my order is more than 1 hour behind schedule and I’m waiting another 30 + minutes for it to be ready. The point of online ordering and pick up is so that it’s ready when you get there. If I wanted to order a pizza at the mall, I would’ve done so. Poor timing, poor etiquette, and unfashionably late service. Would not recommend or order again.

I visit SBARRO often in summit mall and the customer service quality is hit or miss. Tonight, the young ladies were so interested in having their conversations amongst each other instead of focusing on the customers in front of them. Not to mention my order was incorrect. The staff needs a refresher training course on delivering exceptional customer service to EVERYONE they in counter.

I’ve been going to this Sbarro in the Summit Mall for years. They used to be the best. They must have had a change in management/ownership or something, because now they’re terrible. They wanted to serve me some old, dried out pizza that looked like it had been sitting there all day. I said I wanted some of the fresh pizza that they just put down next to it, and they refused. They said “It doesn’t work like that. You have to buy the old pizza first.” No thanks. I’ll go somewhere else where I can get it fresh.

Zero stars! I don’t know how they find all of the rudest people to work here but they do! I walked up to the counter at 11:20 and the girl turned around from talking to her coworker to rudely say “we closed, 20 minutes” then mumbled something under her breathe. I can’t remember the last time I even ordered food here because this happens every time. And who opens at 11:40? Go somewhere else! They don’t deserve your business!

Prices are high, so the service and food better be worth it! But it definitely wasn’t. Yesterday, the kid working rolled his eyes and sighed when we asked for a whole pepperoni pizza. Said if we REALLY wanted one, it would take 20-30 minutes. Then the manager came out, never made eye contact with us and claimed it would take at least 30 minutes to make one. Its NEVER taken that long. Ever. We said nevermind. They then proceeded to stand around and chat with masks down (manager) while slapping the dough. Too bad. Sbarro goes way back with us!

I wish I could show the picture of the pizza I received. It wasn’t cooked all the way. Now I did order it from doordash but they literally just deliver it they have nothing to do with the cooking. The cheese was half melted and the pepperoni was only on half of the pizza. I’ve been here before and the staff is rude and acts like you’re bothering them. This was my 2nd chance for them but I’ll be going elsewhere for pizza from now on.

Love their pizza, Stromboli and meatballs! I usually have all 3 when I eat there! One of my favorite pizza places which is odd since they’re a chain.
