A place that serves pizza by the slice at JAX.

Seeing $6.29/slice, I waspreparing to jump all over them. But honestly, its not bad. I mean, the crust soggy and folds over your hand like a sock. But a shorter time in a hotter oven would fix that. I give it a solid 4. Not new york, but airport food? Sure.

I love pizza and was looking forward to a slice but this place was kind of disappointing. First, the sign says “fresh” as the photo shows yet there was nothing that looked fresh. in fact slices looked ready and ingredients or toppings were sparse. Don’t know about you but I’m kind of irritated by false advertising. Second, prices were absurd. I guess they have a captive airport audience and appear to be the only pizza store. So they prove they reason why monopolies are painful: they can charge the price of a whole pizza and give you just a slice

This pizza does not taste delicious and is great on your body, no bad after effects. However it would have been nicer if they had heated the pizza.

I literally hung my head when I saw the oven…filthy nasty place with old pizza. Anyone who has been to a Sbarro’s during their heyday knows what I’m talking about. This place needs to close or change the name to something else. If this is what the model of Sbarro’s has become its better to change the name. I did take any photos.

This is a bad example of a good chain. This branch is badly organized with young inexperienced staff that are disengaged. The food is soggy, the work area in disarray. No straws, fixings a mess. I know it’s hard to get staff but this is a mess. Staff need ro be retrained. I guess no repeat customers.

Service is terrible. Two workers behind the counter making pizza. No one at the register. The line is wrapped around and Noone even acknowledged any costumers. Not even a “someone will be with you shortly”. They have pizzas on the line so someone could be serving.

The pizza is precooked and reheated once it is ordered. All the pizzas are about 4″ in diameter. The toppings are not very good. I give the toppings a solid C level rating. JAX doesn’t have many restaurant options, but you may want to skip Sbarro unless you’re super hungry for pizza. Service is friendly. It’s also super overpriced.

It’s a Friday afternoon and busy at 530pm, 3 employees are standing around talking and “making pizza” telling customers they are closed. If the business hours are 10-7pm, how are you closed? The other businesses closed are lights off closed. Many of us had to wait in the line for Firehouse and hope to get a bite before our flight
