First time in a long time since I’ve been to Sawatdee. We were able to be seated right away. The menu was extensive, but we both ordered the Pad Thai. Nice portion size but the pork was not very flavorful. I probably would not order this again.

Delicious! So glad this place is still here and going strong. Always a win when mangoes and sticky rice are available for dess! Excellent service and beautiful space.

Great food and quick, friendly service. Shrimp and scallops was flavorful and the level 5 spice was a nice amount of heat.

A great place for Thai food in Minneapolis. Easy access off Washington Ave and the interior of the restaurant is bright and colorful. One of my favorites places for take out. They even have a robotic waiter.

Had heard this was the best thai in minneapolis.. uuuhhhmmmmm… not in my opinion. We wanted thai after cardio on the stone arch bridge, we walked in and no one was there. The waitress wasn’t very welcoming, you have to us QR code to view menu, order the tom khai soup & pad see I think (the bigger noodle one) … not the best. Taste was funky & I’ve had alot of tom Kais, even in Thailand (delish there). Not recommended. Try spicy thai in savage, they have way better food with better service. Thumps way down

The picture says enough. Our Panang curry container had hardly any actual curry and was about 80% green beans. I’ve never received a container filled so little with curry from a Thai restaurant before. Pad Thai was good flavor but not enough sauce so it was dry (noticing a trend). Will not be coming back here.

Good Thai place in downtown east Minneapolis. They have some vegan options, but you need to ask the server for details as it isn’t marked. They are able to do most of the noodle and fried rice dishes vegan. I got the Summer Pad Thai with fried tofu. It was pretty good, although a little lacking in flavor. I also got the fried veggie spring rolls, which are very big for spring rolls. They were good as well. My biggest pet peeve is that the curry dishes all have fish paste so they cannot be made vegan, but otherwise there was definitely options.we dined in and it was a bit quiet and unlively. I’d recommend this place for a quick Thai takeaway.

This was my third time trying their food and it was about to be the last one but I changed my mind. It was absolutely delicious.

Our waiter John C. started out as a good server until he got more customers, and it seemed as if he changed. He BURPED very rudely and did not excuse himself. Seemed as if he was not willing to provide the same service he started out giving when we were seated. The food was just okay. It was nothing to be spectacular as everyone claimed it to be. They amount of food you receive was a nice portion. The flavor was good, but the quality of food was minimal for the price.
