So happy we came here for dinner. We had the best seating in the second building’s loft seating area. Almost everything was great. The coconut curry mussels were oh so dang salty. Luckily this is one of my favorites so I will definitely be giving it another go. The chocolate mousse was not mousse. Our entrees were absolutely delicious. We ordered the bourbon salmon and loved it. I will be recommending this spot to everyone especially to take advantage of their $20-$30 menu.

The food and value is great at Savor. The portion is just right. They did a great job on fixing up the outdoor eating area. The only complain is the service. The staff is not properly trained which is not their fault. Management needs to pay more attention on the services and details. When we first got there we asked to be seated inside, but we changed our mind as soon as we sat down since it was a little too loud for our group to have conversations during dinner. There were empty tables outside and we asked to switch seating. We asked the manager, and she looked at us and just said “why?”. Not accommodating at all, and we were taken back by her responses. When food arrived, they were passed down from one person to another instead is actually serving the food (we only has 5 people in our group, not like we have a long table). Same with collecting the plates after eating. Instead of walking over to pick up our dishes. We were asked to pass all the dishes back to the server standing at one end of the table while we were having a conversations among us. It is actually comical, but small details can make this place a hot spot to be!! What a shame, they have good food, and owner seems to make a great effort to make the place look nice!!! But service and management is a big part to restaurant. Not sure I will go back.

Traveling Cosmos and Tacos
I had lunch here recently with a friend. We ate outside on the patio, although it was chilly, they turned on the outside heater, which was nice. We both loved our dish and said we would order it again. Shrimp Parmesan and Shrimp scampi with Risotto. Waitstaff was accommodating and friendly

Risotto was undercooked, almond cake tasted heavily of abstract it was chemical. The spicy calamari was good. A lot of the menu items were out. We made reservations for a large party well in advance, shame the chef didn’t plan well. Service was accommodating.

My mother came here a while back for a party and liked the food and she wanted to come here for her birthday. When we got there we went in and were told without a reservation we needed to go to the upper level. We get there and are told without a reservation we can only sit at the tall tables or the upper balcony. There was no way my 5’2″ 75 year old mother was getting onto the tall chairs and the upper balcony is up a narrow, winding, uneven stone stairway that my mother only made about halfway up before losing her balance and nearly falling. It was at this point we decided to leave. The girl did follow us out and offer us the patio, but since it was 50 degrees outside that was not happening, and then she asked us to wait so she could come up with something but we had already had enough of being treated this way, so we left and ended up going to Chili’s in Somers (which to be honest we both enjoyed very much).

Our service took an hour to get our main course. When I asked where our food was I was told by the waiter the kitchen is very small but it should be out soon. When we got our food finally some of the scallops were bad and the spaghetti in garlic sauce was dry which the waiter said “well sir stir up”!!

As part of a 5 top, I was sitting at an unset table for over 20 minutes when suddenly the owner drives up and heads straight to the kitchen. I knew that this was not going to go well. I soon learned that the Chef just quit.

The food is outrageously delicious with good portions. They are getting so busy that the wait staff is nearly running, which causes inconsistencies. They need a little more organizational structure so the staff can concentrate and provide better service. We will definitely keep going, though. They have an amazing chef. Chicken Puttanesca with risotto, Mahi Mahi, calamari are all so good!

I was a little disappointed. The ribeye was under seasoned and was comparable to what I’d get at a diner. The few skinny, overcooked stalks of asparagus that the garnished it with were unnecessary. The salad greens were bitter, which was a shame because the beets and goat cheese were very good. High notes were the zucchini which was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. And the music was too loud.
