Not only were the staff great but the food is so good! Friendly and helpful staff. The food was fresh, and flavorful. Great portion sizes. Prices are reasonable as well. We loved everything, will definitely return.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend the creamy chicken rice soup, it tasted like it was made from scratch and authentic. The nachos were giant and really tasty. I had the gyro fries which were also delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again.

Used to love frequently ordering from here but the prices are extremely high now. Almost $13 for a gyro with taxes! $18 for a salad with meat. Make it make sense because I’m all for a restaurant making a profit. However it’s getting outta control. Unfortunately I have to find another spot. I see their sales decreasing from their repeat customers.

Our first time ordering tonight. Got 2 salads and some other things. They didn’t send any dressing for the salads. I called and they offered a free side order with the “next order”. It was our first order and it’s disappointing not to have one of the main components with both of our meals. We went out on a limb to order here, but it didn’t really convince us to ever want to spend our money here again. Would have happy with a few dollars back or one of the salads reimbursed or something. We ordered quite a bit and spent quite a bit to be so disappointed and have to add our own dressing. We had lettuce in the fridge and could have made our own salads if that was our goal.

First time visiting this location. I originally planned to have a meal @ Portillos. I found that they are closed on Monday. So, I figured I’d give Savino a try. I ordering a combo, no peppers with fries and a drink. The sandwich had an immediate of paid of sweet peppers. The beef was flavorless! What a disappointment. I will not be returning. This was not to my liking.

I work at a shop right in the industrial park behind Savino’s, we all come here monthly for their PHENOMENAL HIGH QUALITY TASTING FOOD! THIS IS A CHICAGOLAND GEM! The staff here is always very polite and make sure the orders come out right every time too! 10/10 stars! These guys ROCK!

Had the gyro sandwich a few times, it’s ok. Then I decided to try the Phillie cheese steak sandwich and the next day I was throwing up mushrooms all morning, had diarrhea for the next 36 hours. Had to miss 2 days of work and was sick for the rest of the weekend. Do not eat here unless you don’t mind getting food poisoning!

Always hits the spot. Great menu selection, something for virtually every type of taste bud. Was a little worried after the ownership change but things only got better. Bigger more beautiful menu and an expansion of different country flavor. One of our favorite quick, easy and cost effective restaurants near me in Plainfield.
