Very small, but intimate restaurant. Not sure about the prices because they aren’t displayed on their menu. I ordered a sweet tea, lobster fettuccine, and the banana fosters bread pudding to go and it all came to $61.00. I did like that they offer BYOB. You can bring your own bottle of wine and they charge $3 per person cork fee. The food was really good and I definitely recommend trying if you love authentic Italian food.

1st visit, went for our anniversary, took over 20 minutes after being seated to be addressed and get water. I was disappointed and felt overlooked because Savelli’s was highly recommended. The food was very delicious. I’m willing to try again to see if the service will be better.

We had dinner there last night. The service was average at best. There’s no pricing on the menu, which I feel like they are trying to act like a high end restaurant with a beautiful view. Which this place absolutely doesn’t have. I feel if you know you serve great food, why not post how much it is going to cost you. We had a party of 4 and it cost us almost $300.00 and we only had water for our drinks. We felt very disappointed and we will ever come back.

We just happen to run across this little gem of a place. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was awesome. The food was hot and fresh and we didn’t have one bad thing from the appetizer to the desserts.

I stopped in on a whim at a slow time. The lady proprietors invited me in and fixed a wonderful bowl of soup. I’ve since forgotten which one but, I am certain that their entire faire is worthy of praise on the highest.

The restaurant was dirty, the wine bottles on the shelf was completely covered in dust. the food was subpar at best. The server acted overwhelmed like it was her first day. Another gross thing is how the owner is very passive aggressive towards the reviewers on here. I wished I had looked into the reviewers before coming and spending 80.00. I would have rather had Olive Garden instead and I hate Olive Garden. I can’t wait to see what the owner has to post.

Disappointing. Parking wasn’t available, anywhere. we had to park down the street in the neighborhood. Almost no space for even getting to our table. They’ve got 20 tables crammed into a place that should have had 8-10. Dark enough where reading the menu was tricky (had to hold it up to the light) and couldn’t have a conversation without speaking over the nearest table who was quite literally only 3 feet away.

We dropped in on a whim, loving genuine Italian food. The place had a major musty smell that when we were seated morphed into some horrible vomit smell. We took our food to go. So disappointed. The Savelli’s variety meat pasta sampler was ok, just. We tried to enjoy our meal but I just couldn’t. The seafood bisque was super thick and salty. Tried to add water, it didn’t get any better. Sorry. Nope.

I went to Savelli”s tonight. My first time in about 5 years. The last time I went and ordered Chicken Parmesan, they said they were out of chicken. Since it had been a while, my husband and I decided to go back and give the local restaurant another try. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan. They did actually have chicken this time, and he said it was good. I ordered the grouper piccata. I went out on a limb, because they did not have chicken piccata, because it took too long to cook. The grouper was disgusting. It was very oily. I told the waitress that I could not eat it, and she said it had been cooked in too much butter. She offered me something else, and I said I would just eat my pasta. She said that they would take care of it. When the bill came, she had only taken off 10 dollars because the cook/owner said that I had eaten half of the entree. That was not true, I had only eaten maybe 3 bites of the fish. It upsets me when I feel like I have been taken advantage of. It is the principal of the thing. The bill was over a 100.00. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal. I have lived in Knoxville over 30 years. I have tried to support this restaurant over the years, but each time there has been an issue. Needless to say, I will not be going back there. I would not recommend this restaurant. The way it was handled was not professional at all. A little customer service would go long way. I felt sorry for the waitress because I really don’t think she thought that was the way the manager was going to handle it. It was a sad ending to a night out with my husband.

Sometimes in life you find yourself in a small local restaurant and you get blown away. Tonight was one of those moments for me. I was invited to a dinner with friends at Savellis. I read the other reviews and was skeptical.
