EXCEPTIONAL & MICHELIN STAR WORTHY! Sassafras does not disappoint. Everything is delicious. My wife and I visit every chance we get. The Chefs and Cooks kill it in the Kitchen. The Golden Beet Salad & Cheddar Biscuits…HOLY SH*T! A must visit Restaurant if you’re in the West Palm Beach area. If you’re a Foodie, don’t miss out. Shoutout to Chef Nick and the Staff.

The venue itself is super nice, modern and light. Bar set up is pretty small but good enough. We came for brunch on a Sunday and it was half way packed in the restaurant. I like that you can see the chef cook and there is an open kitchen therefore, you know exactly what you are getting and you even have options to tip chefs. The food was OK. I wouldn’t say great. The fried chicken and waffles were a solid three out of 10 there was no seasoning on the chicken which made it pretty hard to eat. The spicy maple syrup was just regular syrup. They charged $10 for two biscuits as a side which was on the expensive side and I will say the biscuits were good the onion jam that it came with was fantastic. Do I think it’s worth $10 absolutely not. For two biscuit that is kind of crazy. My husband been ordered the cheeseburger and that was cooked very well. The food came out very fast which I was surprised about. I ordered the bottomless Mimosas was underwhelmed with how they refill it. Our server seemed like she was always in a rush and running around. I never even got to tell her to take back the chicken and waffles because she would simply come and then run away very quickly. You can see the food runners working extremely hard. Overall I would give it another try. But I’m not dying to return or tell my friends bout this place. There are also no coasters so our entire table was wet and slippery because of the plastic material of the table. I found myself constantly wiping it with my own napkin.

TOP 100 USA RESTAURANT ACCORDING TO YELP – been here multiple times now, and genuinely love the place, incredible food comes out of a tiny kitchen!!!! Limited wine list, but what they have is a solid selection at reasonable pricing. Happy hour is great, 50% off drinks and a number of very well priced eats incl both apps and main courses. Shout out to Sharon, the new GM who seems to have a good handle on solving prior service issues. Best weekend Brunch spot in West Palm Beach in my view!!!

Wow! The food here is amazing. Everything is done so well and is just perfectly seasoned. Service is just as good as the food. Our waitress was real friendly. It gets a little cramped when it’s busy, but they’ve got the staff for it. All in all, it’s our new favorite Palm Beach restaurant

Love this place. Their brunch is a great with bottomless sangria and mimosas. Beware no mix and match and I’m so sad they got rid of the spritz. The food here is always top notch and the location can’t be beat.

Sunday Brunch, if you want a fine food with flare, then you need to come here! The limitless mimosas or Bellinis start off the hour with the incredible appetizer of the southern biscuits with a home made jams. Everything we tried was delicious, and we wrapped up the meal with some beignets (more similar to a powdered donut but still marvelously messy). The service was good, but if you can make a reservation to avoid the extended wait times because this place gets crowded.

Sassafras is consistently above average! The food is flavorful and better than nearby restaurants with similar prices. The menu is interesting with variations to familiar dishes that will leave you with a smile on your face. The roasted beet salad, the fried chicken and waffle ( made of corn bread), the biscuits with onion relish, the pickled vegetables, the cocktails….. everything I have tasted there is delicious and artfully presented. I highly recommend Sassafras. I brought my family when we couldn’t get reservations for a nearby restaurant. The meal we had at Sassafras did not disappoint! Looking forward to my next visit.

Great spot for brunch. Limited menu but what they have on it is great. Chicken and waffles and the mushroom omelette were great.

Beautiful ambience, great service, with hit or miss food and a fancy bar. Community seating as in there are very few tables and it is shared with other people dining out. It’s very noisy inside so it’s harder to have a conversation with a larger group. The staff was all super nice and very good at what they do. They use very dim lighting with breathtaking table set up. Loved the plates. The drinks are strong. To be honest, we had high expectations of this place and the food let us down. We ordered a lot of different dishes and the only thing that really was a total hit at our table was the chicken skin. Oue party of 8 agreed the chicken skin was probably the best dish out of everything we ordered. The squash blossoms with blue crabs, the oysters, and the cornbread were also delish. Worse was a toss up between the gumbo, the fried chicken, and the shrimp and grits. The gumbo was served not hot and the shrimp and grits had barely any flavor. The fried chicken was over battered and really greasy, you could taste lumps of flour in the batter. The house made coppa was also really salty. The fish dip was super fishy. The chicken liver pate left a strange aftertaste in your mouth.. The beignets were also something we would not order again because it was super heavy and dough-ey and not fluffy at all. We really wanted to love this place and unfortunately it fell short for us.
