Best breakfast I’ve had at a restaurant in years. Eggs and toast we’re good, coffee was perfect, bacon was crispy, home fries seasoned very well, and Belgian waffle was probably the best I’ve ever had. Only constructive criticism I could give was checking in for more refills or if there was anything I needed after my food came. No big deal, servers was very sweet and considerate. 10 out of 10 and highly recommend.

Every time we go to Sara’s I get one of the specials. This day I ordered the huveos ranchero breakfast—corn tortilla with poached egg, guacamole, and nicely seasoned pork bellies (first time having pork bellies). Oh my!! Soooo delicious! Hubby got the lemon curd and berries Belgian waffle and a side of homemade corned beef hash. Both were great—-a word about corned beef hash: most restrictions serve premade from can—Sara’s makes it from scratch and it is definitely one of the best I have ever had. KUDOS!!!

Words cannot describe how absolutely delicious Sarah’s is. First of all, the home fries are to die for, they’re so crispy and seasoned to perfection!! Any special you order is guaranteed to be a flavor combination that you’ve been searching for your entire life. Don’t sleep on Sarah’s, in fact, get up even earlier than normal to take in all the quaint and cozy ambiance this spot has to offer. The wait staff are always in a good mood and super friendly too How could you not be when you’re surrounded by smells so intoxicating?!

Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in Portland. The homemade corned beef hash is amazing, and you can’t go wrong with anything else on their menu either. This has become a go-to breakfast spot.

This was an awesome find. I had an omelet with the corned beef hash. It was so big that I took half of it home and enjoyed it for lunch. You can tell that they pride themselves on scratch cooking everything to order. So good!

Twice here now. Good breakfast, good service! The restaurant is also very accommodating. My only complaint would be finding parking, but that’s a Portland problem.

Sarah’s is a cozy spot with a home cooked with love style of food. When I mention home style I am also talking about the atmosphere. Instead of telling me they were out of a particular item and I can’t get what I ordered the waiter asked if it was OK to substitute with a similar item. It’s all good with me so I said sure sounds good. I got my meal and was pleasantly suprised the portions were generous and the quality was there.
