Happy hour (5-6pm) is very good value as their sashimi is 50% off. However you are only allowed 1 plate of sashimi per table which makes coming with a large party during that time not as worth it.

Much busier than expected. It feels like a place you’d want to be a regular at. The food is good and comes out fast; however, don’t expect amazing service. You may have to ask multiple times or wait a long time for water or a to go box.

Our favorite place when you want omakase, rolls, and tasty apps for the whole family. The music and the relatively tight space makes this place lively and bustling. Don’t make a reservation through Yelp. Do call in advance to make a reservation.

Music is really loud. You have yell to your table mate. Service is slow. The fish is not very fresh. Too over priced.

Took a chance on this place and drove 20 minutes not know what to expect. We were impressed with the melt in your mouth fish we were served. We normally like our saba to be a little on the older side so it’s more vinegary (my preference since I was a kid) so when the Saba arrived looking more like just fresh Saba with it’s translucent appearance, we were both unsure. After eating one piece, our fears were allayed. It was super tender with a light flavor, it opened my mind to a different style for this fish…and I’ve been eating it a long long time.

I’m a Japanese and heard good things about this restaurant. The temaki (toro and uni) was delicious. However omakase was pretty disappointing because it had so many duplicates. $48 for two salmon, two yellow tail and two red snapper..?

Starting to understand the hype on this happy hour! I recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before opening to ensure you get a seat! If you love sashimi, this is the place to go (between 5 to 6 pm specifically). Soooo affordable and good quality sashimi. 20 thicc cuts of fish for $27? Pretty great deal! The rest of the happy hour is decent, but honestly not a crazy discount. Most items are just a dollar or $2 off from the original prices.

We arrived at 4:50pm to line up for the happy hour. 5 parties in front of us. But the waiting is not that bad.

Fresh sashimi, tasty Kama, and great service! Poured it down with some hot sake! Definitely coming back for HH!

Update: came here with a reservation for 2 and pre-ordered the secret box! It was amazing and everything in the box had such complex flavors. We were in awe of some of the things in the box even post dinner. Highly recommend for special occasions! ($60 per box and limited, so preorder if possible). The roll and sashimi we got were all really great quality and each cut of sashimi was pretty large so they definitely do not hold back. Service was also great this time. And the staff were pretty friendly. They’re a very popular place and tend to be really busy so we went a little earlier than normal dinner time. My last experience was affected by how overwhelmed they were with customers coming in.
