This place was AWESOME!!! Everyone was super nice and i can’t wait to go back. We were just passing through and seen the great reviews. I was craving papaya salad and theirs was great. We ordered it spicy and it was spicy!!! We ordered the papaya salad, omelet, fresh rolls, lettuce wraps, and Tom yum.. It was all great! On our way out we had a nice chat with the owner who suggested the laab next time we’re in town and i can’t wait to get back!! Hopefully to your new location!

Small space so be willing to share a table which can be a wonderful experience if most seats are taken. Service is very personable. Food is outstanding! Great prices and menu.. A definite repeat.

We always pass this restaurant and it’s been on our “to try” list for a while so we finally stopped in and were blown away by the fantastic service and great food! The restaurant itself is small but it is kept very very clean. We were greeted and promptly seated. Our food came quickly and you could tell everything was FRESH. The drunken noodles and krab Rangoon were absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and has tons of options to suit everyone’s cravings. Overall, we were quite

Authentic Lao food. The spice was on point and everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered the raw laap, papaya salad, chicken wings (my kids grab them before I got to take a picture ) nam khao and chicken fried rice. Laap and papaya spice was on point. So glad we found this gem. If you want delicious lao food like how your mom makes it then come here! Highly recommend!!!

Food was great. One of the highlights was the jaew, unfortunately they were sold out of 2/3 of them. Would go back just for that dip. The sticky rice was good and the larb (unfortunately no organ meat) was delicious. The green papaya salad has an option to get it with salted crab. So good. Definitely recommend. The Lao sausage was only ok for me as it had a strong dill flavor which I’m not partial to. I expected more lemongrass/galangal. The food was spicy just the way I like it and I’d definitely go back again. The place is also super clean.

We had a great time here. It was our first time. Our friend who was Laos ordered for us. The food was delicious and hit the spot. The Lao sausage was yummy. The Yum seafood BIG was fresh and delicious. Both the Laap chicken and beef were out of this world. We will have to come back next time we’re in the area. Friendly service from Autumn and Susan was even better.

If you’ve never tried Laotian food… I highly recommend getting the Khao Piak Sen and the Lao Shrimp Ceviche! Both were absolutely delicious, the noodles were bouncy and flavorful and the shrimp cured with a spicy citrus mix that has you craving for more. I have a low spice tolerance but kept going back for seconds! The Lao sausage and Laap beef were yummy too.

We found Sap Sap by other reviewers on I Love St. Pete FB group. So glad we found the review because we all loved the food at Sap Sap.

I order extra so that I have leftovers. I’ve tried half the menu at this point and everything is amazing. Food cooked to perfection that makes your stomach smile. My personal favs are any of the curry dishes. The drunken noodles are amazing as well. I love that spice! Mango sticky rice is a great take home dessert! The sausages make a good addition to breakfast at home the next morning! The service is also great with attentive staff. Just stop reading this review and go now. You won’t regret it! A personal thank you to the family running this place for opening such a delicious and enjoyable place to eat!
