Wish I could give it more than 5 Stars. Picked this place at random while just making a stop half way on our trip to Virginia from Florida and will stop on our way back for sure!! Yes I started to eat some before photos could not resist. The whole fried brim was amazing! Ended with peach cobbler. That was just part of what we had. Amazing service and amazing staff!!

Never judge a book by its cover! If you are traveling on 95 through SC and don’t stop in, you are missing out. The shrimp and grits were by far the best I have had. The tin tub was great. Overall, we are 100% satisfied and can’t wait till next time we are in the area.

The Santee Seafood Bistro is the best place to bring a date for a nice meal! Portions are generous and the prices are just right! Chef brings you his creation to the table, and the food takes you on a journey to a seaside homecooked soul kitchen. Best seafood and sauces in Santee. Must try the crab tin broil and gumbo! I also love the catchy old tunes and records, great customer service from our waiter Paul as well!

Had the shrimp & grits bowl, and it was so satisfying I’m coming back here next time I pass through the area. Old school place with lots of soul, perfect for those who want to avoid the same-old chains. Not open every day of the week, but I recommend stopping in if you can.

Old fashioned local restaurant. And I mean that in the best way possible. Nothing fancy, just good country style seafood cooking. I had a whole fried brim (aka bream) that was delicious.

Absolutely amazing food and the service was fabulous. Annette, first gave us the most welcoming greeting when we first walked in. She had such a vibrant personality and charm. I had Shrimp & Grits In which were absolutely amazing. The peach cobbler was out of this world. Best food and service I have had in a very long time.

My daughter’s, in-laws brought me over for take out. The food was great. I was really surprised of how much food came in our order! The sea food was top notch We’re from Texas, we’ll definitely be back every time we come for a visit. Thanks for a great experience.

Restaurant is in a good location and it’s easy to find. Great outdoor seating. A large group may not be comfortable. Food choices were great but extremely slow n wait staff just didn’t make me want to come back. Esp. When u not offered anything to drink after 1 glass of water. Hope they will improve in that area.

Been here twice now and will gladly come back again, and again. Excellent food, nice atmosphere. Probably the tastiest food in Santee, and I’ve tried most of the offerings by now. By far my favorite place.

Fine southern fare. We ordered shrimp & grits (excellent), ribs, fried okra, and collards (also excellent). Lemonade is made with lemons, not too sweet. Fast polite service, clean, oldies playing at a volume that allowed conversation. We’ll be back.
