The menu is awesome with lots of choices. Very good atmosphere and great service. I had frog legs and grilled quail with mixed vegetables and asparagus. However the frog legs were bland and what i tasted most was the breading. The asparagus was over cooked for my taste. I like mine to have little crunch and not so soft. However a great surprise was the grilled quail. Nicely done. Mixed vegetables were on point. I like the food so the next day i had grilled shrimp with pork chops and mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious. A definite place to try and probably one of the best places to eat locally.

I’ve been to this restaurant many many times before they changed owners. They changed the chef and the food as you can see by the photo I did not finish my dinner at all. The shrimp was too crunchy hard batter had an odd taste to it they did not have the crinkle french fries any longer, and if you don’t pay cash they charge and $.85 up charge on your ticket. I don’t eat catfish fried ever but they had some of the best around with light batter. This time slaw was runny my fried had the fried shrimp poo boy same hard fried shrimp and now a hard toasted bun. We will not be back!

First time trying this place and we weren’t disappointed. We had gator bites for appetizer. I had the fish, shrimp,and crawfish tails. My husband had the Jumbo shrimp. I think it was supposed to come with coleslaw but neither of us received any. Not alot of flavor in the breading but the cocktail and tartar sauce make up for that.

Fantastic fried fish, and there fried okra taste like fresh okra. My brother and my sister in law had chicken fried steak and they truly enjoyed ever bite. We’ll be back again soon.

It changed owners and recipes. The food is not as good. Beware of hidden charges when you pay your bill. I have eaten there for 11 years. Very disappointed in the new owners.

One of the best places in Santa Fe to get good food at and Sherry is the best!Orders are always correct and hot. Very good variety from burgers to steak to seafood. And they have just the right fried appetizers to make that bad day a little bit better. Will definitely return

5 Family Members visited this Quaint Restaurant to see if what we heard about it was true. There were a few patrons already seated and eating. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The waitress was attentive to a point but as more patrons arrived we were addressed less often. When we received our main courses, it was delivered in a staggered timing. 2 of us ordered the Cajun Pasta (see pic of plate) which differed in quality and quantity. My plate tasted primarily of Bell Pepper with very little crawfish, shrimp sauce as compared to the amount of pasta which it covered! Both our dishes were missing the scallops as was stated as an ingredient of the dish. The other person’s dish was very spicy and the amount of Sauce was more than mine but still lacking as to the plate full of pasta it was bedded upon. I’m not sure we 2 will be up to a return visit!

As soon as we walked in we could hear and see the management yelling at staff. Horrible first impression,. Then the food came, I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it was flavorless even the shrimp and pasta were luke warm and I’m sure the sauce was straight out of a bottle.
