You haven’t experienced Tennessee unless you’ve eaten at a little back road diner or country store. Santa Fe Diner is about as good as that experience gets. Traditional Southern fare like fried pickles, fried balogna sandwiches and the best catfish for three counties around.

Stopped for lunch around 2:00 and it was absolutely delicious. Had an amazing amount of food choices even for little ones. The cook and waitress was very on top of it. Food was cooked fresh and yummy! Shrimp and okra hamburger steak meal and catfish meal was phenomenal! Definitely will come back when we are in the area!

A few individual booths line one side and a couple of shared tables in the middle and other side so be prepared to sit closely with others when it’s busy. Everyone is friendly, staff and patrons alike. Friday is catfish day and is some of the best I’ve found in the area!
