Wow is the first thing that comes to mind. This place was located really close to our Airbnb and had good reviews. We were not disappointed they were very hospitable and I felt like we were in Mexico city. They even gave me the pinata off the table. They will offer 3 salsas the one with peanuts is the spiciest. San Antonio you have a gem!!!

Visited last Saturday. Really pretty place, atmosphere was good too, they have a “wait until be seated” sign but no one greeted us and a couple waiters saw us wait but continued their way. Food was good, Ordered the guac (really good!) queso flameado (ok, the cheese was hard in less than 5 minutes and tricky to pull apart) and Huachinango Ceviche (awesome flavor) also the salsa selection was great! For dinner we ordered Chimichurri steak and fish, and also beans and rice as sides (everything ok).

Great place to eat mexican food and drink amazing frozen margaritas. It is a couple of blocks apart from The Pearl and it has its own parking lot. Our favorite dish were quesabirrias. We also ordered fajitas of arrachera, queso fundido con chorizo, and guacamole. All good.

We stumbled upon this gem while going somewhere else in the same parking lot and decided to give it a shot and I am soo happy we did. I had never heard about this place which is only 10mins from the Pearl ( walking ) with ample free parking. We sat at the bar and Bri was so friendly and helpful in making recommendations. I started with the La Chingona which is a spicy Mezcal cocktail that was really tasty and I definitely recommend. The owner came out and brought chips and salsa (3 different kinds) all full of flavor and some heat. We had already ate a little earlier so after about an hour I went with Bri’s recommendation and had the chilaquiles which I got with the chipotle salsa. I have not had better since the last time I was in Mexico, so tasty! So many things on their brunch and regular menu I want to go try. One thing to note is the have gender neutral bathroom which is cool but I saw a few customers get confused but the staff helped them out quickly

I was on San Antonio for a few days and visited the place based on the reviews and wasn’t what I was expecting. Way overpriced for the type of food. No kids menu which makes the place no kids friendly. Way better places to visit in San Antonio.
