To be honest it was a nice friendly restaurant. Freinds of mine had eaten there and said it was ok. But it was toward the end of the night, well an hour before closing i ordered food, had a drink at the bar while waiting. All lovely and relaxed. Got my take away food, tipped my waiter and went back to my hotel to enjoy my food, to find my sticky white rice was well beyond sticky!! and dry chicken… totally disappointed as i was looking forward to it. Was it because they thought i would not be back being out of town??? Well wrong … every body you serve is as much as important as the next!!! Wont be ordering there again. Paid for food i couldn’t eat.. Not happy!!!!!

So bad. Initially way too cold in the bar area. Moved to the back dining room where it was warmer.. unfortunately there were also very large animal droppings on the bench seat. The host moved us to another table but did NOT clean up the DROPPINGS .. told the waiter and she did nothing. I was so shocked and appalled. Then happened to see the same thing under our table.. more.. A LOT of animal poop. Staff did not seem surprised at all.

What a little gem this place is. So unexpected. The Thai food we three had was deliciously prepared, fresh, and aromatic. The Green Papaya Salad , ginger Beef, and Ginger Perfect ( I chose shrimp) was superb! This food was better than Thai food I had in Bangkok! We sat in the enclosed patio yard behind the restaurant, which was charming. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and polite. If you already like Thai food, this restaurant is for you. If you are looking for a tasty change , give this a try.

Ordered curry and none of it came with rice so I had to make rice for my whole family and wait to eat. I don’t know what kind of restaurant serves such expensive curry without rice. Will never order from here again. Very disappointed and hungry as I’m currently making rice. No one eats curry without rice, that’s just soup. Please improve your service and I don’t recommend this place to anyone

Came down last Saturday on our way to view the eclipse, and again a week later. We had green curry, drunken noodles, dumplings, chicken sate and other assorted appetizers. The food is out of this world and hands down , better than most Thai restaurants in Manhattan. The bill was also about 50% less than comparable restaurants in New York or New Jersey.

Ate at this restaurant this evening with my wife and another couple. We were told that most of the appetizers and all of the draft beers were unavailable. Finally found two appetizers (spring rolls and fried dumplings} that were available and ordered them along with a bottle of wine. Asked the waitress for water.

Attentive service and good food. The Healthy Spring Rolls were very fresh and the Pad See Re flavorful. I wouldn’t order the Crispy Pork and broccoli again just because 15th pork wasn’t what I expected. They were out of fresh mint so the mojito I had was made with Thai basil and lime–fantastic!

I had drunken noodles with shrimp and it was actually good, but my waitress was terrible! She forgot my drink and actually sat at the bar with her friends between taking my order and delivering my food. She was actually allowing her friends to sample the alcohol…. Not very professional at all!!!

Best Thai-Food in Richmond. At Approximately $13 a plate, I do wish it was a bit less pricey, but totally worth it in the end, seeing as none of the other Thai food restaurants in Richmond even compare. I have been eating Pad Thai for years, and this rivals that of mainland Thailand. Give it a try if you’re on the hunt for some great Thai!
