Sandwich was great! Soup was not very flavorful. They have new soups daily though so Im sure there are some in the rotation that I would like. They were short staffed but are looking for applicants to remedy that. The atmosphere is amazing. Cute lil spot that I’m sure will end up being on of the gems of Lawrence.

There truly are so many things to be impressed about with this restaurant. Every single staff member was so kind. Their bathroom sign was funny but also inclusive and made you realize you were in a safe place. The food was yummy and I love that I can get desserts with my meal that isn’t just a cookie.

The staff are always so friendly! I love it when I go into a restaurant and all the people working look genuinely happy to be there. The whole restaurant was clean and has a really cute vibe to it. There’s a giant chalkboard wall with what may be too many options for food that all sounds really good. My meal was delicious and absolutely worth the $14 I paid. The Sandwich Bowl can consider me a life-long customer.

This place is amazing. We’ve been going here for a while now, and everything we have tried so far on the menu has been great. I’m not usually a big soup person, but the daily soups here have been outstanding. Jess and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The portions are huge, and the prices are a really good value for the quality and quantity of food you get. This has become a frequent stop for us. Keep up the great work. I love having a local place like this to support.

Post pandemic, and I am able to return to Sandwich Bowl. Excellent sandwiches and soups still abound. I had a taste of the Ham and Beans. And my favorite, the Flaming Pig! Staff remains attentive and friendy. Great place for lunch and dinner. The sandwiches provide a filling meal. And the desserts are excellent too! Not to be missed.

Drove through Kansas on our road trip and found this cute sandwich shop! I ordered a Reuben, and the bread and everything was cooked just right. So good!! Employee was so friendly, walked us through the menu and made sure everything tasted good. Wish this was closer to home!!!!
