I been to alot of fancy places I don’t really review because what’s the point when its a obvious 5 star, but this tiny but casual fancy dinning was top notch! Great staff, a bar that knew a thing or two about drinks, and amazing food. The steaks and condiments to compliment them made the entire experience complete. The menu is vast and very well thought threw; Having something for everyone and a wild flavor sure to tell about.

We’ve been here twice and absolutely loved it both times, likely due in no small part to our waiter, Joe, and his excellent service, suggestions, and overall knowledgeability and chipper attitude. While some dishes could perhaps use a little more variety to improve their overall character, the food we received was well prepared and tasted great. We would certainly recommend this restaurant.

I was honestly hoping for better based on the menu and full parking lot. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The salad was the best part of the meal. The Salmon dish was ok, overcooked and burned/stuck to the plate – would not order it again on a bet. The fried oysters were greasy (couldn’t finish them). Every thing else was just ok. Would not go out of my way to eat here again…

Stuffed halibut is awesome. All the food is good. I also have had the salmon and the trout. They are all good meals. The house salad comes with little shrimp on the side to put on it. It’s a little expensive, but not overpriced. The big-o is a good drink, although I usually stick to beer. Definitely worth the visit if you are considering it. Look at the menu online. They also have a good selection of wines. Servers have always been super nice. Always busy though. Recommend reservations for busy times and weekends.

I don’t care your dietary restrictions. Get the adult mac and cheese (you can share it, but i don’t suggest it. Its too good), the Ribeye with the dry rub (the waiter suggested it) and the steak fries. My only complaint is that i didn’t have enough room for more. I had friends get the Trout, the Lobster and Shrimp Linguine, and a few other items, and we ALL loved our meals. Best part, we were considering dessert and our waiter said, “we do dinner really well, but our dessert isn’t as good.” Just really appreciated the honesty.

We sat in the bar/lounge area on a Thursday night and our waiter was the best! It felt like “Cheers” where everybody knew everyone else. It was a fun atmosphere – my son had a steak and said it was absolutely delicious- and he’s quite picky. Amazing prices for drinks too. Fun place, we will definitely be back again when in town to visit our son at ISU.

Sprayed in the face and chest by waitress who had no clue how to open a bottle of wine. She laughingly apologized but really??? Dinner was good, $140 for two, just couldn’t get past the wine mishap. Think we will find a new place that trains the staff a bit better

Typical waiter taking their sweet time counting on the fact that they were cute ! Our dinner took over an hour just to order ! We got our dinner finally and were done within an hour! Just frustrating that our waiter made us wait till we almost walked out! Food was okay not that best I have had better and less cute waiters who made the meal greater with better service!

Went in on a Friday night, passing through town. Got a table in the lounge immediately (dining room would have been a longer wait). It was pretty noisy in the lounge but that’s not unexpected… Tried a variety of appetizers instead of main courses. Lots of interesting things on the menu. But… not really well executed. Not bad, just not as good as I was hoping for. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy and the staff was swinging hard at staying on top of things.
