Me and my boyfriend stopped in today for a quick snack and we were just going to stop at a fast food place but I’m sure glad we didn’t! Not only was the man working there (I think the owner) was the most sweetest kindest person ever the food was to die for. I had the gumbo which was phenomenal it was perfect for these cold winter days and my boyfriend had the brisket and Mac and cheese when I tell you mind blowing it was smoky, flavorful, falling apart, seasoned perfectly, the very definition of soul food. You can taste the love with every bite. I recommend anyone and everyone in the area to stop in and give it a try. If I could rate more stars I would!

If u r in or near San Marcus u have to try Sanders barbecue. The owner takes his time and smokes the ribs soaks them in a special seasoned sauce.They r genuinely the most tender juicest ribs u have ever tasted..He also serves side dishes that remind u of food that ur mama would b proud to call her own. U must try his sweet potato pie its to die for.
