Sushi was delicious! We came in close to closing time (8:45) with seven people. They graciously seated us and let us order quickly. No complaints and very accommodating. Would definitely go back.

Staff and owner Ashley are extremely rude. They have messed up my to go orders countless times and then extremely rude about it after admitting they forgot part of the order. They tell me it will be another ten minutes and offer me nothing. And charge me for the spring roll that they forgot to ring up. I simply asked if they aren’t going to take care of it because of the inconvenience and the response was do you want it or not. We used to eat here a lot but service and food has gone down hill as they remove things like fish eggs etc from the rolls to save money then increase the cost of the rolls. After complaints they tried to put a cheap red fish egg on everything now that taste bad. They penny pinch so bad they will charge you for a sauce that they give for free when you eat in. My wife placed an online order and there is not a place to add side sauce so when I get there I asked for it and they tried to charge me $1 for it. They then told me it’s my responsibility to add it online when there isn’t a place to even do that. I had no cash or wallet on me as my wife paid online. They got so rude and told me I owe them a $1. I come back in 3 months later and they charge me $1 for the sauce 3 months ago.. Mind you this is a restaurant we used to eat at 3x a week and spent god knows how much money at. If w restaurant is this cheap god knows what other coroners are being cut. Terrible service and way to treat such frequent customers.

Not bad for the area. The seaweed salad was really good but I found it weird that it was served on a bed of iceberg lettuce. The salmon sashimi was delicious and is an excellent price for the amount of prices you get. We also got a crazy roll which was pretty good but I’d probably get a different roll next time.

Samurai Sushi has the best sushi rolls in town – hands down! I have tried sushi at many restaurants in Louisville and some others are good, but this place has an excellent selection, great quality, and the largest portion sizes! It’s our go-to for Sushi in Louisville!

Had a craving for sushi and wanted to try somewhere new.. Samurai did not disappoint. Our food was all excellent – Seaweed salad, Fresh roll, Summer roll, Hot Papa roll, and Chicken Hibachi were what we tried and they were all delicious, garnished well, and fair portion sizes. They have an extensive selection of roles and all looked good. When the weather is nice, it’s great to come here and sit outside too.

Service was great even though you could tell they were short handed, but our sushi has very little flavor and was kind of falling apart. We only had sushi though we did order edamame but it never arrived at the table. Kitchen staff was not having a good day it seemed.
