Tried the Wild Magda Roll at Samurai Sombrero today, and it was AMAZING!!! It had fresh, delicious ingredients that meshed well together. It was flavorful and filling. The egg rolls were an excellent complement to my roll. I (reluctantly) saved my hubby a bite, and he liked it so much we’re doing date night there next week! The proprietor, Gabby, was friendly and helpful with ordering. I can’t wait to return again (and again).

If you want to spend $50 dollars on over sauce sushi, and order of 3 small egg rolls and not even a half a container of dry Yakisoba… this is your place. There was a 10-15 wait but it wasn’t a big deal because the food was fresh. The food didn’t taste bad, however, what I got for what paid isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Went to The Pit today to support the small businesses that are set up there. I ordered from Samurai Sombrero and enjoyed every bite. I ordered the Sombrero Roll and the Avocado Roll and I was not disappointed in the least! Both rolls were made with good quality fresh ingredients. The Sombrero Roll was particularly good. Well made and delicious! I will be returning for another order from this yummy Sushi Food Truck!! Thank you!!!

If you like the stuffed roll concept of “everything but the kitchen sink” you’ll love this truck. Great service and fast.

One of the best sushi I’ve had in Tucson in a while! I tried a variety of the rolls and was literally amazed with how good each one was! My favorite being the valley, it tasted so fresh and I couldn’t get enough of it. Definitely will be going back soon!

Lots of good reviews about this shop- I musta hit on a bad night. Had mine delivered via door dash. Dumplings and noodles are good, but the rolls were terrible- rice was overcooked, to about the texture of pudding. Rolls were warm, like they had been rolled hot- never seen that happen before. Wasn’t cheap, either- I can get better sushi from Fry’s for less. Sounds like I’m bein picky, but if there’s one thing you expect a sushi restaurant to do right, it’s rice. Just tryin out a new place- I’d say I won’t be back, but to be honest, unless I get sick off the stuff, I’ll forget all about this experience and order again.

If you haven’t tried this food then you are truly missing out on something amazing. The whole experience is very well done from the menu choices, to the presentation and the flavors. Everything is melded together for the perfect meal. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Egg Rolls are something I have no words for, they are truly that good. Everything is prepared to the highest standards.
