Sushi wasn’t the best I have ever had but also not the worst. Outside is a little deceiving but inside was nice. Service was great.

Don’t let the outside deceive you. This little run down shop has delicious food. I ordered 2 sushi rolls, the Phoenix Tail and the Gulfport. Both were amazing

When my husband and I read a review that said this restaurant had both delicious Hibachi AND the best sushi in Lawton, we knew we had to try it! After our visit, we both agreed we probably wouldn’t be going back. Food was very middle of the road. Hubby gave the sushi a 5 out of 10 and proclaimed, “it was sushi”. The Hibachi chicken and shrimp I ordered was…fine. It was hot and I ate it all. Small portion for the price, $20.99 (which is about what you pay for much larger portions at a Japanese steakhouse). The traditional Hibachi flavor was not there in my opinion. Everything (chicken, shrimp, & veggies) was covered in a semi-sweet brown sauce. The Vegetable Tempura we ordered as an appetizer was cooked well, but had zero flavor. They are NOT using their Hibachi “cook in front of you” grills at this time. The service was VERY slow, but everyone was very polite and apologetic about the wait. All-in-all, for us, the food was so-so and not worth the price.

I visit Lawton a few times a year and I always make it a point to visit Samurai. The service is always excellent and they have the best sushi in town at a very reasonable price. I recommend them 100%.

Really nice people and a nice place to dine at. Haven’t had sushi in a long but but I’d say that the prices are fair and and presentation is on point.

I LOVE Samurai! It’s a small restaurant but is filled with great vibes and friendly staff. The menu has a lot to offer, (Sushi, Hibachi, awesome appetizers). By far my favorite Sushi restaurant in all of Lawton. It seems very authentic and hibachi tables are also available. The prices here are about average for a Japanese restaurant but the quality of the food makes it more than worth the visit. Perfect for a lunch (Lunch Specials), or dinner (Dinner Rolls)…
