A co-faculty suggested Samuel’s for lunch. So we did. We were on May school break. No rush; easy walk from school. It has a warm, cozy atmosphere offering feel-good pub fare. Surprise, surprise. We found other co-faculty with the same bright idea! The double cheese burger and fries were terrific. They hit the spot!

A huge array of food options. A full bar. The server was very nice. Fairly busy for 10pm on a Thursday. But didn’t have to wait to long for food/drinks. It was delicious! Very good portions, and reasonable prices. Will definitely go again and would recommend.

This place could use a better parking situation. They have additional parking down the road but I couldn’t figure out where to go. Had a Nice dinner here with a friend. I like that when I ordered a cup of coffee they brewed me a fresh pot.

Great little local bar! Music is lively and the bartenders are awesome. If you’re a wing person, get yourself some of their “dirty” wings. Double fried heaven! They have a good selection of local beers on draft and prices are reasonable. Definitely a welcoming vibe and a place to take friends and hang out and have good conversations at the bar 🙂

The dirty chicken tenders are the most perfect chicken tenders I’ve ever tasted. This place is always busy, but I’ve never waited for a spot at the bar or a quick table. They’re one of the last places in Portland to serve food until 1AM. Service is always quick and friendly!
