I really wanted to like this place! It looks so cute and adorable. But the food was actually pretty awful. The menu made it sound so good. Our server didn’t come to us until 20 minutes in, and it wasn’t that busy – not even half full. I had one bad and shriveled up oyster out of 6 and also has to steal utensils from another empty table because what else should I use to put the cocktail sauce on them lol.

The view of the lake was amazing from almost any table. Our server, Camille, was outstanding – very attentive and accommodating! The menu had something for everyone in our party and had great gluten free options. The food was delicious.

Sat outside on Wednesday evening. Came for the prime rib. Jenn was our waitress, she couldn’t have been more attentive. We got the prime rib special, it was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was amazing, overlooking Webster lake. We will definitely be back.

We have purchased the Samuel Slater concert add on several times – it’s pricey at $80 for a table of 4 (just to reserve the table) – however, ultimately it’s been worth it. The food, drinks, service and vibe of the place is great – HOWEVER there was very big miss this past weekend when the manager could have easily accommodated a simple request to sit our table of 4 with our friends table of 2 together (we purchased tickets separately) – instead she offered to sit us all outside on the side of the building in the blazing hot sun while the tables we actually paid for ($120 in total!) would have just sat empty with the a/c and beautiful view. When we arrived – we were literally the first patrons in so it would have been VERY easy to just put our two tables together. This truly was a very simple request but was refused and we were told that next time we need to call. Few things: 1) there were 4 (or 5) tables of 2 set up – only one was used the entire time we were there (by our 2 friends) 2) She allowed us to have the two tables “next to each other” – but we could not move the tables to operate as one table (there was plenty of room to do so – and there was one waitress for both tables). 3) No other customers sat outside to eat b/c it was just too hot – one other table of 3 started outside but soon came in as it just wasn’t enjoyable b/c of the blazing sun. I do not write bad reviews, I truly respect people who work in the restaurant business, I know it’s not easy – but when customers are paying $120 in total just to sit down – a very simple request could have (should have) been accommodated – good managers need to think on their feet a bit – it’s part of the job. I hope that this post helps management rethink this type of request in the future – “rules” are good – but so are good paying customers.

Wonderful views, delicious choices for food. Your eyes might pass by their homemade sour cream and onion chips and dip, but don’t let your belly go without them! So good!

We had a party of ten. Drinks and food were good. The waiter was very attentive. Our group then went down to watch the comedy show. It was quite the evening.

Located at Indian Ranch, Samuel Slater’s is a restaurant that is at the top of my list. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and present when you need them. The menu changes seasonally (open year round) and has everything from burgers to seafood. A true chef is at the helm. Specialty drinks are just that: Special and delicious! Ascetically, the restaurant is very clean, bright and welcoming with MANY ceiling to floor doors that open to the surrounding deck during the spring and summer months.

One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had ever had . The hand cut fries were a perfect addition. I tried the Blueberry Lemonade cocktail which was perfect. I even decided to try the smoked old fashioned. It was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had and I don’t even like whisky. I will definitely be back for both!
