Eating out with the family, we weren’t sure where to go but one of suggested this place since they ate here a few years ago and once we walked in the atmosphere was very calming. We sat down and had some trouble figuring out what too get but once we decided, we later would find out it was a great decision cause the food was amazing. And the service was very good. Overall a great place to eat at for a fancy and nice dinner.

This is the best locally owned non-chain Steakhouse in the St Louis area!!! Very cozy dining atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. And the food is always amazing!!! Highly recommended!!!

Great local steakhouse. You’re not going to find anything particularly inventive here, but you will have a good meal. The bar side is fun, and they have a great cocktail list. Definitely a “special occasion” price point, but you’ll more than likely be going home with plenty of leftover. Wonderful service.

I would never had known about this place had I not been gifted a gift card. I was told that Sam’s is more of an “experience” (but unsure exactly what that meant )

So Glad we chose this place for dinner away from the casino. Tina our server was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was fantastic! The filet literally melted in your mouth. Atmosphere was nice. We will definitely go back our next trip to St. Louis. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I love Sam’s! Found this place a couple years ago and have been several times since. The food is consistently good and I think the value is better than many of the well known steak places. I’ve had some outstanding service here. The formal dining space is nice and I love the decorations during the holidays, but the bar area is great for a little bit of a less formal atmosphere. I really like their split plate option. One little thing with our last reservation was that we selected “bar area” when we made the reservation but we were seated in the regular dining room. However, it’s possible the bar area was full or something, not a big deal.

I had driven past Sam’s several times. We live 80miles away in Illinois. Covid came and went. But I always remembered the outside of the restaurant. So finally we went. The Christmas decorations are fantastic. Menu choices are adequate. Pricing is on the upper end. But the quality is worth the cost. Everyone ws very friendly. Which in today’s restaurants is hard to find. The food was fantastic. The cooking staff really are the stars of Sam’s. Not enough can be said about how well they cook the food.

Great steaks, great service, great experience!! Had intimate dining appeal with comfortable atmosphere. Did I mention incredible steaks. I had bone on ribeye with blue cheese. Perfect. The prime rib finished Sam’s style was impressive. Will come back soon.
