We found Sam’s Eatery in the last year or so and it is one of our favorite to go restaurants. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. The waitresses are always friendly and on it. The prices are really reasonable!! The only negative thing I will say is that though the tables have been wiped down they always have a sticky residue of some kind on them. They could also use a major upgrade in the dining area which is to include table, chairs and booths. Other than that, the food is pretty terrific,…

Everything I ordered was fresh, delicious and still warm when delivered to me. I really enjoyed my food. The fish, fried shrimp, chicken wings, and chicken strips were on point. I loved the taste. Everything was seasoned just right. Even the hushpuppies and fries were good. I would definitely recommend others to eat here.

I was excited when I saw oyster PoBoy on the menu, I was beginning to think New Orleans was the only place I could get one. But I have to admit I was a little disappointed when the meal came. The Poboys were wrapped in aluminum foil and looked like two burritos. Then it was a bit skimpy, four pieces of oyster on the entire sandwich. I ordered some extra pieces of oyster to put on the sandwich. It tastes great but I ended up paying way more than I ever want to pay for sandwich. A friend of mine ordered the oyster platter, I wish I would have went that route. Other than that the food tastes great and the service was good.

Wouldn’t recommend late night visits. My chicken was fried extra hard and it had no season. My okra was stuck together and the fries were greasy as if they double fried them to make them fresh. I called back before they closed no answer. I called the next day and they stated nothing could be done due to not all the pieces were there. Of course it wouldn’t be

Oh my lord, just another reason to love Arkansas. This place has the most authentic Southern cuisine, it’s cooked fresh to order and is to die for. I always get the shrimp po boy with a side of red beans and rice, phenomenal, but everything is great, love their catfish and hush puppies, seriously just try it all.

Very food place to eat with large portions of food! Good service if you dine in but drive thru service was absolutely horrible. I did not get greeted or thanked for my business I was ignored the whole time.

Ordered delivery tonight. They forgot my Okra that was a side for one of the dinners. They also left out the salad dressing that was ordered for a side salad.

We all know we can all do better and that’s the truth you can’t say hi to your customers anymore you just look at them and say order in or carryout I received fries but no ketchup, me and my friend felt like the food could have been better and then I heard them say I Don’t Care. So how should I feel?

I gotta leave the South before these meals I keep eating clog my arteries. The cornmeal batter was on point, crispy and flavorful. My catfish, oysters, shrimp, fried okra and red beans ‘n rice were all exactly what I wanted out of a Southern Heart Attack Feast. Their tartar is bomb too. Service was kind and quick.
