Amazing food and friendly staff. I can’t recommend this place enough. The shrimp are huge!! The batter on the fish is perfect in every way. The fried green tomatoes are to die for and the red beans and rice are phenomenal.

Very friendly staff, great food , very fast ! I have heard terrible things about the place but I’m very satisfied! They did claim getting help has been a issue so if you tried the place and had a bad experience I recommend trying it again. Amazing cheese burgers, philly cheese steak sandwich and jump shrimp was really good ! Over all I feel like it’s a 5 star place for the money , service and the amazing taste of the food!

What a great place! I’m extremely pleased. I was visiting Terre Haute today with my friend and her Father-in-law told me about Sam’s. I ordered my food over the phone and when I got there to pay I asked if they could double wrap my food because I was on my way home to Indianapolis. The gentleman said yes. Then he asked if I would mind if he placed it in a metal pan. I thought this was very considerate. I placed it in the oven to heat up when I got home. This food is amazing. We have bone in catfish and jumbo shrimp, mac n cheese with green beans. Thank you Sam’s Southern Eatery for not only delicious food but also a very caring staff. All were attentive.

Being a southern native I was very impressed with this place. From the friendly service to the very good southern style food. The portions are far beyond a healthy serving so I will for sure be having my leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely be regulars of Sam’s moving forward. It is a little taste of back home for me. Great works guys !
