Very convenient, open until midnight daily. Has good beer selection, from single beers to 12 packs, and even with spiked slushy. Has good slices to go and decent food

A very prejudiced place I would never recommend. Had never gone there before but needed beer in a pinch at night, and heard they were open. I was in a visible hurry when I entered and thought it was self serve. The older lady behind the counter coldly told me she would get it. I was fine with this but informed her I was short on time. She didn’t like this and told me she “didn’t like me” and that she would not serve me. I attempted to apologize for any faux pas, but she had none of it. Luckily Barnaby’s is also open late, and they sell six packs. But I digress, there is a good chance this place won’t serve you if they “don’t like you” for whatever arbitrary reason they may come up with. There are better, friendlier, options for your late night beer run.

I have no idea how to rate this place. They claimed they were open til midnight on a Sunday night. They lied… Or, there was apparently some miscommunication between them and the internet. Maybe their hours are posted on their actual building? Regardless, they were rude about it when questioned. Just the facts there. I do have to say I remember their pizza being tasty when I was young, but I also thought boogers were tasty then. Also, it’s not an island. Just because it’s between two roads doesn’t make it one.

I used to live in the area years ago, moved back and decided to go back to the home of the sammies slammers. I was happy to see that there were actually movie flavors! It was glorious and so were the slushies, i bought two! They are actually better than i remember.

DO NOT GO HERE. READ THE REVIEWS. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I had my ID snapped in half and invalidated because it is a SC drivers license and the owner suspected it was fake. She then proceeded to bend it in half which broke the authentication seal and then throw it at me and say she wont serve me. I have NEVER been so disrespected for doing nothing wrong or accused of having a fake ID. They are not built with the purpose of being bent in half!! I told her that she now invalidated it and when I asked her if she would at least pay for a new one because she messed it up she said no. Even after I called a police officer down to help negotiate the situation, she refused. Even after I went to the Beer Mill next door and they refused me for the broken sealed license, called her to confirm what I already knew, she refused. That is not how you do business. That is not how you handle customers. DO NOT COME HERE. IT IS A TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT WITH EVEN WORSE MANAGEMENT.

Decided to stop here instead of the beer mart next door for a change… WORST DECISION EVER. Extremely rude customer service, very unknowledgeable staff. Asked how much a specific 6-pack was and I was answered with a sarcastic “Geez, I don’t know. $11-something????” The rest of my visit was just about the same level of disappointment. My advice: If you walk in and see a tall, blonde woman working, turn around and don’t look back!
