It was excellent! Food is very fresh and very nice. Really happy with this place. It’s extremely rare that I do take out because I think most of the food I’ve gotten at most places was very greasy, a mess. The Margherita pizza..thin-slice, is the BEST I’ve ever tasted. The sauce….WOW!

Sam’s is our go-to place for a solid pizza, but their cheesesteaks are also really good, especially for the price. I don’t know if it’s the cheese they use or what, but it’s the best cheesesteak in the Glenside area, in my opinion. We’ve only gotten delivery from them, but it’s always prompt and courteous.

We had one of the square thin crust pizzas, the Wyncote Special (we added artichoke hearts). It was perfect: The crust thin but stiff enough to eat easily, the various ingredients well-mixed, the artichoke hearts plentiful.

Really solid food! Super nice people working there. Sam’s is in the same spot that Vinny’s (and the 1st Bella’s) used to be. The inside of the restaurant is almost the same layout however it is freshly painted and has a much cleaner look. The menu has a LOT of variety. First visit we got a small steak Stromboli, which was super tasty and enough for two people. We also got a “Chicago style” pizza. This pizza was super large with nice thick crust. It didn’t quite have the “Chicago” crust I was hoping for–the crust was kind of more like a round Sicilian pie than Chicago–but was still really good. The sauce on it was great! We’re going to gladly add Sam’s to our Pizza Spot rotation.

When Bella’s was in this location they made the best pizza in Glenside. The prior replacements didn’t live up to it. Sam’s has not only reached their level; they’ve arguably surpassed it. Great variety, high quality ingredients, great pizza.
