The food was very and it was served hot. Everything was just as we ordered. I had the fried catfish and it was so good with two large pieces. It was easy for all of us to talk, no loud music. My husband enjoyed the banana pudding. We will be back.

Friendly service and good southern comfort food. They have specials on the board and brunch on the weekend. Sandwiches, bbq plates, loaded potatoes, etc. Highly suggest the chicken fried chicken, onion rings, and the pulled pork. Friendly, cozy atmosphere.

The food was good but the side dishes were very bland. I got he don’t make me choose plate. That’s 2 meats and 2 sides. The brisket was good and tender, the ribs good but not to die for. My sides were green beans & cabbage. Mid at best. Season the sides and it will boost the review.

Decided to give this place a try. The service was friendly and a hostess did greet us but you pick your seat. There is a separate bar area with seating, the regular dining area is separate and outside seating is off the bar area.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. We don’t get the opportunity to eat here often, but when we come to the area, we make it a point to eat here. Recently Sammy Lou’s relocated and WOW what a great facility. We enjoyed outside dining and look forward to our next visit.

Overall good meal. Came during lunch hour on a Saturday. It was not busy and service was quick and attentive. Catfish and homemade onion rings were good. Creamed corn was fine, but I’ve had better. I prefer a hint of sweetness in my tartar sauce but that’s individual taste. Atmosphere was good and food well presented. Prices were reasonable.

I had the pleasure of stopping in here for the first time yesterday. My wife and I have talked about going often, but one thing or another has came up and kept us from giving it a try. We met some friends for dinner, and it was great. I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, pulled pork and jalapeno cheddar sausage, my sides were french fries and mac’ n’ cheese. It did not disappoint. We finished off our dinner with an apple cobbler and banana pudding. We will be back for sure. The service was great also!
