This was my first time here at this restaurant. The employees were wonderfully nice and so kind. I always ask for a booth when at a restaurant because I have Epilepsy and it would be easier if I were to have a seizure to be in a booth then to fall while sitting at a table. And they were great to seat me at a booth when I asked. The place was packed!!! So many people coming in and out you could just tell they were a big hit! They had so many great things it was hard to finally decide what it was I wanted. So I finally went with an appetizer of Takoyaki, Avocado California Salad and Chicken Katsu Donburi with Miso Soup. The waitresses we’re always coming to check and see how we were at our table and always filling our glasses with water. Definitely going to go back! 10 outta 10 would recommend!!!

Amazing customer service, cozy environment and AMAZING food. I had the special bento box and everything was delicious! It changes regularly, but Thursday it had a friend salmon bite (most likely battered in cornmeal) that was to die for. You have to try the agedashi tofu either as a side or it comes with the special bento box…it literally melts in your mouth!

I really enjoyed this place while I was in town. It was so good I ate there both days. First day I had ramen, the egg and other ingredients were unique and delicious. The second day I decided to learn about Japanese food. I got the Bento Box so I could try a lot of things. Each item was better than the last. The serve helped me enjoy the food, explaining the dishes and recommended a saki I really liked. I hope the closure truly is temporary. This place is a gem.

Used to be a solid go to for basic sushi in a family restaurant. Last visit in early April 2023 was sub par. The place is a mess. There are boxes and supplies and piles of paper and things everywhere. It’s disorganized and doesn’t seem clean. The sushi cooler is a mess too. Plastic containers and bags and wrap. Nothing really on display. The food is still okay, though the nigiri portions are too large and difficult to eat, and the rolls are kinda loose and not made with much care. I’m not sure what changed at this place in the last couple of years, but it wasn’t a very positive experience. Might try it again if I hear things are improving. The people are very nice, and I’d like to see them get back on track.

Drove by this part of town and looking for a sushi restaurant. Came here after reading the great reviews and confirmed its all true. Excellent sushi and fried dishes, as well as very friendly staff, which provided sanitizer after we finished our meal. Look forward coming back to try more from their menu.

I said wow when I tasted how fresh the mackerel nigiri was. Smooth and buttery. The yellowtail and tuna was amazing as well. The boxes are awesome, miso soup tasty, seaweed salad fresh. Sushi rolls flavorful! Great local place with cute decor. I drove extra to try it…worth it.
