This Sam Woo just reopen this month for dine in after the pandemic. Came try their breakfast. Compared to all other HK-style restaurants in the area, their breakfast menu beats all others hands down in terms of quality and value. Breakfast menu is available from 8:30am to 2:30pm, all others offer till 11:00 or 11:30am. Unlike most other restaurants there is no extra charge for cold breakfast drink. Just try it once, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Will definitely come back again.

Ordered the steam pork with salty fish, went home, tasted. Taste super duper sour, I knew it went bad already… before I order it, i asked the lady multiple times is it good since I only see one there. Lady confirmed with me it is still good! Big fat lied. Called it in told them my situation, told me to bring it back….. wtf… the gas going back to exchange cost more then the dish itself! Ask them to give me credit instead, told me no….”neither bring it back or no credit”.

nostalgia.. is the same as i remember as a child. can’t beat the salt and pepper squid, my all time fave song with the roast duck. also ordered the squid from the quick serve counter, surprisingly good!

Special ordered a whole roast pig. Meat was tasty but dry. Skin was great, very crispy and stayed on the meat. Not as big as last time we ordered a few years ago.

The food is delicious, the portions are huge for the price, I don’t know if they charged for the tea since they only list the overall cost and not the items or their prices. We got the double meat entre with duck and sausage, eggplant in garlic sauce, pork fried rice, fried squid and spring rolls, huge portions for $53+
