Quiet place.. very romantic. Food was delicious. Don’t forget to get the appetizers, fried calamari was amazing, delicious sauce, food was also amazing. Parking not a issue at all, on premises. Definitely recommend reservations especially on a busy weekend

A dear friend of mine knows the owner and has been raving about this place for years. I tried it out for the first time a few months ago and it was very good. The food is delicious and fresh, staff are attentive. The atmosphere is great for a date but just a heads up that the volume gets pretty up there, very authentic upscale Italian.

Our second experience at Sam Vera exceeded our expectations! Fine dining awaits. We had succulent lobster tail with fork tender fillet minion, and all perfectly seasoned. accompanied by steamy hot potatoes with tender green beans and squash. Excellent wine and service.

Food was a 5. Service was a 2. My wife had the filet mignon which was tender, perfectly cooked and served hot. The sauce (port wine reduction?) was excellent. I had the Risotto which was served hot and was very good. It was a little thick – didn’t flow like risotto should. Service was slow. We waited a long time for menus. Food came out promptly. I waited 10 minutes for a glass of wine even though our waiter was walking around in our area. I got his name but each time I spoke it he either didn’t hear me or ignored me.

First time dining there (Xmas Eve) and it will be the LAST! Seated promptly-downhill from there. Menus were delivered to us about 15 min later by Server # 1 who could have cared less. Took our drink order and returned with them about 20 min later. Server 1 did us a favor by taking our orders, then he disappeared-never checking for drink refills, bread refills, or watered. Other tables that came after us were served before us! Server 1 was nowhere to be seen. About ready to walkout and he shows up with our meals-NO APOLOGIES !! We ate 1/2 of the tasteless, bland food-paid the overpriced + underserved bill and left-vowing to NEVER RETURN

You can’t go wrong with Sam Vera. Lovely space, not too loud, great balance of not too formal and not too casual, and friendly, professional, attentive service that feels like old friends. Their Chicken Francese is my absolute favorite anywhere in the area. Been coming for years. Reliable and always look forward to returning. Particularly love the fresh airy patio space for an early cocktail and dinner 🙂

The owner Steve is a great guy who always makes you feel welcome. There is not a time we go here either with my wife and I or as a family that we don’t have a great experience. We also take food out quite often. my favorites are the veal chop and Bronzino ….We have been loyal customers for years after spending the kings ransom at Osteria and getting treated like garbage. Would give 10 stars if I could

As a guest of a loyal customer I was mortified at how the maitre d treated us. We can start with one of the appetizers never being brought out. Then the food was not hot and I get it they are very short staffed but the kicker here was when they put a table next to us to accommodate a larger group and realized there wasn’t enough room for them to sit the maitre d just reach over us and started moving our table. And although he said sorry sorry sorry. I think that was so disrespectful. This could have been tolerated if he had come over and said I’m sorry but can I move your table over a bit to make room. By the way moving our table only succeeded at putting us on top of the patrons on the other side of us. This restaurant now list a loyal customer that was there almost every Saturday and often one or two days during the week. What a shame that this shows a lack of class and respect for loyal customers. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant
