Celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter suggested a dessert. When he brought it it was covered in almonds. I have an allergy to almonds and explained I couldn’t have it. He refused to take it back and suggested I removed the almonds. My allergy is life-threatening. He said, give it your husband and I’ll bring you a smaller one without almonds. At the end he charged us for both at $15 a piece. I wrote a letter to the owner and never got an apology or any reply. Will never step foot in there again. Horrible customer service and ruined our evening.

Yes… You Must give Sal & Maria’s spot a try: it’s a hidden gem of Kendall; fine dining & de-li-cious. Try their pesto, salmon on wood plank, octopus, spaghetti & meatballs, house salad is A-Mazing but the bread will be more addicting than you can imagine. Sit at the bar, call ahead for reservations, or stop in early when it’s quiet.

Food is not that great. The owner charges a sharing charge if you dare eat the same pasta. We had three plates for three people. Personally It was a horrible experience. When we inquired about the bill, the owner did not budge and instead demanded we pay extra. Mind you, we had 3 plates for 3 people and we had 5 alcoholic drink. Total bill $170 for 3 people without the tip.

The owner charges extra if you order and share plates. We were three people and ordered three plates. We ordered 5 alcoholic drinks. He charged an extra fee because we all ate from the pasta. Ridiculous. Never coming back. Food was not as good as other Italian places Anyways!

You would never expect to get the level of service and delicious food from a place in a shopping center, but looks can be deceiving. The atmosphere, excellent serice [ and quality servers] the food was beyond words. The veal cannaloni was good down to the last drop of gravy on my plate_ sopped it up with the hot homemade bread! You just gotta try this place. It was my first visit but won’t be my last!

What a fabulous surprise when we opened the door and saw this magnificent quaint, cozy and inviting place. Our waiter José was amazing and so, knowledgeable. The menu and specials were abundant and JOSÉ was able to help us with the selection. (Thank you Jose)

Absolutely amazing Italian food. The calamari were delicious. The Chicken Parm was so big that I shared it with my Hubby. My favorite was the angel hair pasta with their vodka sauce. Cannot wait to go back.

From the outside it does not look like much, but it’s truly a fine dining experience with excellent service and incredibly food! I had the halibut with champagne risotto and it was mind blowingly good. Would go again.
