Been going to salt n pepper for a long time now and use to love the food then they started to devalue in both the portion of their food and the taste, last order was the height of it all, long grain rice for jollof really? The pepper soup barely had any meat , overall all the food I ordered was 3/10 use to be much better, not sure what’s happening with this restaurant

Oh my goodness please make sure the plantains are ripe. NO Dry Plantains. They are tough and flavorless. Excellent job on the jollof rice. Thank you for making it fresh it is flavorful, spicy and very delicious

Yup!! The Abula right here is standard but the stew wasn’t buka stew as I really thought; the feel of naija street & there was barely any gbegiri. Other than that, the meal was satisfying & incredibly amazing! The meat was portioned and sized right. It was worth the drive & the money.

It’s very hard to find a Nigerian restaurant with good service but Salt N pepper constantly delivers. I come here every time I’m in Dallas for the Abula and the servers are ever gracious. The Abula for me is a little salty but overall, it’s one of the best I have tasted in the US.

As someone that hasn’t ever had authentic Nigerian food, my opinion might not matter as much as some, but I can say it was an amazing experience! The staff was so kind and patient and was excited to see what I thought! The food was wonderfully seasoned and my neighbor that I went with (who is from Nigeria) said it’s some of the most authentic he has found in DFW.
